The customer service at Altis Belem is superb. Each room is uniquely designed. The river views provide a memorable view of some attractions and boats. The complementary breakfast with made to order eggs were delicious. The hotel location is perfect for anyone visiting Lisbon for the first time as it’s very close to major attractions such as restaurants, cafés, monuments and parks. Next time I am in Lisbon, I will be staying here.

I would like to compliment and thank again to the staff in the concierge on 29 Oct around 5pm. I felt on the floor near the hotel area on a rainy day. With quite a number of wounds and bleeding continuously, I went to the hotel and sought for help. If I remembered correctly, there were a lady in charge of the concierge and two other men on duty too. They were very helpful and offered me some first aid items. One staff even guided me to the toilet and asked if further help was needed. I appreciate very much the assistance of the hotel staff and hence write this note to compliment them. They are valuable assets to the hotels n i believe travellers staying there should feel the same.

The place is fantastic. A modern building near the river with an amazing view. The food was perfect! The “carabineiro” rice is a must. So much flavour and tecnique. The service is what you expect: just as good as the food. Wines that match the experience.

Beautiful hotel at the River, nice gardens and patio for a drink or snack, staff are fabulous and accommodating!!! From the bar to the front desk, all staff is great and wants to insure that you have a special and memorable time at the Altis Belem. Room is super large as well as bathroom, lots of great amenities, like robes and slippers, mini bar and in room coffee. We had one slight issue with lighting, which was fixed immediately to our satisfaction. As Lisbon is popular as well as this hotel, this hotel is in need of some minor maintenance in the rooms to keep the 5 star status. My rating was 4 stars.

This was a great place to stay for our first visit to Lisbon. We were given a room overlooking the marina with a great view. This hotel is close to the Belem Tower, Jeronimos monastery, and it's very convenient to buses and the train. Short walk to Pasteis de Belem( go early lines are long) The front desk staff were very helpful and friendly. Our first day Ashley welcomed us, Odair and Vicente chatted with us all the time especially about football, Erica helped with the cars and restaurant reservations. They all took care of us with different suggestions and ideas for our stay. Great front desk staff, always smiling. A Couple of our complaints was as a light sleeper I could hear the train and the vehicle traffic. I think the hotel management should really look into it. We also were annoyed that the hotel only had 2 irons and ironing boards for the entire hotel, it was very inconvenient to call down for them every day. I also think they should look into regrouting the bathroom. Don't get me wrong everything was clean however, the bathroom needs touching up in the grout area. We would still stay here on a return visit!

We stayed here for 3 nights for a business trip, we had 2 different rooms, one was a marina view and the other was a superior balcony room with a river view, both were beautiful! My room, the balcony room, was very quiet and immaculately clean. I had a slight issue with all the controls for the lights, but got used to them quite easily. The mini bar was fully stocked and complementary, this was a nice touch. We ate in the 38 41 gastrobar, this again was very good with nice views of the river. Breakfast was also good, buffet style, which suited us. Staff were very friendly, and happy to help. All in all, a very good experience.

Staff left a bad impression. Poor hospitality, would have expected better attitudes. Wouldn’t book this place although it is located within walking distance of Belem tower. There are many other good hotels nearby.

At first sight, this is a stunning, extremely stylish hotel. Our "Asia" room on the second floor with view of the marina and Torre de Belem was decorated in black and red lacquer-type cladding and had a wall of floor-to-ceiling windows overlooking the yacht harbour. It truly had the wow-effect! On closer contact, however, we realised that the black recesses made things like the coffeemaker, safe etc hard to see. There were very few plugs, the square vanity sinks didn't drain and the square toilet seat was uncomfortable. Most light switches remained a mystery as to their true function. Everything (room service, cleaning, light switches) could be accessed via a tablet but many of the options did not work properly. Reception staff were lovely, the rooftop pool has fantastic views (although it can be quite breezy up there) and the spa is excellent. We liked the warm and cool pools and the couple's massage was enjoyable if a bit unusual in the techniques used. The breakfast restaurant felt a bit pretentious and the spread was not that impressive.

This is a lovely, chilled Hotel situated beautifully outside the city centre. The room is big, spacious and modern, with efficient Air-con! The staff were (mostly) very attentive and helpful. The only minor criticism was around the Breakfast, which was OK but not the best. Overall, we'd be happy to go back.
