Hotel's Favorite
First of all I want to emphasize that this is a wonderful hotel that deservs all the superlatifs! For all what it gives you I think is not expensive at all and gives you high return to every penny. Something unexpected brought me and my wife to CorpoSanto Hotel. My sister from Argentina (75 years old) was traveling in Lisbon by her own and staying in this hotel. She fell down while visiting the city and was hospitalized by ambulance and went into a serious surgery. The hotel was advised. As soon as they heard it they took care of her, phoned me to Israel where I live, and until I arrived and also after, they visited her every single day, bringing her to the hospital all what she needed and more (flowers, cake, food, personal efects, etc.) and called me every day to inform about her situation. I want to thank the whole staff that since we arrived they asked about her all the time and received her after leaving the hospital with all the honors. Very specially I want to thank to Pedro Falcao, the "ambassador of the hotel" and guide for their free walking tours for the guests, for visiting her all the time and doing the outmost in order to help her and us. This hotel is excellent in all the possible parameters (bedrooms, service, location, team, breakfast, restaurant, etc) and gives you much more than what you expect making your stay very pleasant and unique. Even in the sad circumstances that we stayed in it we enjoyed every minute. It' s not obvious at all that even a 5 star hotel takes care of a guest that had an accident in such a "human and family way". Thank very much Pedro and thank you to the whole team. We won' t forget you!

During a very difficult year to travel due to the pandemic, we finally made it to beautiful Lisbon! We were spoilt with incredible warmth, friendliness and service from the moment we arrived at the hotel. A surprise delivery of cake, champagne and kiddies treats to our room set our holiday off to a great start. On day 2 we were taken by the lovely Karen Sampaio on walking tour of the city. Starting at our very own hotel, with the ancient ruins of the old city wall. She kept a good pace for our family, including 7 year old twin boys, with lots of stops to take in all the sites. We visited the church of the holy matchmaker-Saint Antony; Our Sé - the cathedral that looks like a castle to protect people. And also stopped by the beautiful viewpoint of “Santa Luzia”, overlooking Alfama. Our final stop was the Castle, where Karen waved us goodbye to continue on our way. She was extremely knowledgeable, even though she isn’t a trained tour guide. It was definitely a highlight of our trip! Back at the hotel, with more complimentary snacks in the reception, happy welcoming smiles, free ice cream, delicious breakfast (and more happy staff!), we just LOVE this hotel. Thanks also to Nuno and Christopher for taking care of our every need. We hope to come back again one day.

I have traveled the world and stayed in many top hotels but Corpo Santo ranks right at the top. Everything was perfect from check in to check out. Our receptionist, Karen, doubles as a walking tour guide. She was our concierge for the 5 days we stayed there. She made us feel right at home. Cristovao served us a copious breakfast every morning and was always smiling and courteous. All of the staff was friendly and helpful. The rooms had complimentary coffee, tea, water, soft drinks and beer! Free ice cream at their shop and a hot drink at the bar every day. We received a surprise bottle of wine with strawberries one night, cheese and crackers on another night, and sparking wine on our last night. The location is perfect, within minutes from the river, Cais do Sobral train station, and the Chiado. The archeological site of the Fernandina city wall is well integrated into an exhibit in the basement living room. The room was so quiet and dark at night that we overslept each morning. The double window balcony insulated the street noise. I highly recommend this hotel.

We were so glad to notice that you enjoyed our own Ice cream shop – Lisbolatto. We were very happy to know that you enjoyed our XIV century Fernandina Wall and all the artifacts and pieces from the XVI and XVII century discovered during the Hotel construction that are also on display. It is always a honor for us to show our own Patrimony to all the Guests we welcome to our Hotel. My stay at Corpo Santo went so far beyond my expectations. The excellent customer service, attention to detail, and the beautiful decor all made this one of my favourite hotels that I've stayed at (and I travel a lot!). The rooms are elegant and I really enjoyed spending time in the lounge with ancient ruins of the city wall. For a moment I even wondered if the corridors had a scent of pastel de nata (they are subtly perfurmed). Splurging on this luxury hotel ends up making your stay affordable because there are so many complementary services and surprises included from the generous (and delicious!) breakfast, fruit plates and mini bar, snacks at reception, and cheese and wine tasting each evening. The free walking tour with Joana is also excellent, offering a personalised service that you would never get through a generic "walking tour" through an agency. A special thank you to Joana, Nuno and the restaurant team for making my stay so special. At Corpo Santo, your stay is a whole experience! I couldn't recommend it enough!
