On arrival we found the property with a lot of scaffolding at the ground level and it looked shut in all honesty as the building was clearly ready for significant work on the entire frontage. Not a thing wrong with that, we hadn’t been warned though. Simple communication. Not hotels fault. Once at reception (1030am) we knew the room wouldn’t be ready so we dropped the cases off and left to explore until 3pm check in time. We arrived back at 240 to be met by a stern member of staff who without any friendly greeting reminded us that 3pm was check in time. My face ensured he at least went to check progress ( we had been up since 4am but as he wasn’t interested in us, he didn’t know that).10 Minutes later we had a room. The room was really nice. No complaints, full of praise and a big surprise given the story so far. Breakfast room is tiny and really cramped but the food is fine. Scrambled egg the only hot food on offer. The guy who made us feel so unwelcome in the beginning, made an effort on departure, so only fair to mention this. Decent location but high up and a tram home might be the answer for some. The 12 and 28 drops you at the door.

Good facilities, like the amenities such as a washing machine, dish washer and a fridge. You can also get their WiFi on loan to take to the streets with 50 euro deposit. Overall a very happy stay. It’s a small 2 unit per floor kind of layout and the lobby lady is very helpful. There r lots of restaurants nearby and an excellent location to get lost in the old town.

Stayed for two nights in this lovely boutique hotel. From the moment we arrived the staff made us feel so welcome, very friendly and ensured we were always attended to. The room was immaculately clean, with some nice little touches like free bottled water & a nice bottle of wine. Probably had our best sleep for a while in the super comfy bed. All in all a great place to stay

We stayed here for 2 nights in late June and had a lovely time. The hotel has a perfect location and is very unique. We had the 1 bedroom apartment which had spectacular views. It was very clean and nicely decorated, but I'll mention some minor things. The bathroom has no privacy. It's a slightly frosted glass door, so keep that in mind. They gave us a single pod of espresso and one decaf for the first morning, but any additional ones were 1EUR each. This didn't really make sense to me since the room rate was the same each night, but at a minimum, 2 espressos on the first morning (instead of the decaf) would be nice. All in all our stay was great, the staff was really nice, and we'd return.
