Excellent location if you are looking for a one night stay closer to Lisbon airport (distance- just ~2 subway stops). Near by You can find modern Lisbon and still untouched not touristic district of Olivais Norte. Basic furnished but clean rooms. Downstairs You can find a nice canteen, serving breakfast, lunch and dinners.

The 4 person rooms are actually okey, they look nice, but there are is writings on the walls and in the closets. The security guard is actually a douche bag. There are to bathrooms in the hostel. But there isn't really showed what room there is for men/woman, so he tolled me to the room. Another night he came to...

Rooms and bunk beds are very basic. However the price per night is relatively cheap. Beds are not well furnished but there is clean bedding and pillows. Can't remember being offered any breakfast, but then again I went to the numerous nearby restaurants near the waterfront. You'll be spoilt for choice!

If you care for a good night of sleep - dont go there. Most guests are young and screaming in the hallways until late a.m (in our days it was always until 3 a.m.). Then the noise starts again very early and the owners do not care at all. Unfriendly and rude personal. The prices include a terrible breakfast, where...

This Hi Youth Hostel was hard to find and a long walk from the train station. The staff at reception were friendly and good provided with good service. They were able to store our luggage for us until it was time to official check in, and they put us in a 'single' dorm room as we were only there for...

Staying in Parque das Nacoes

Neighborhood Profile
Parque das Nacoes
This neighborhood was built up at the end of the 1990s mostly because of the Expo '98. The pavilions and structures that once were the home of all the Expo's attractions and exhibits are still culturally and artistically significant. In Parque das Nações you'll explore conference and concert pavilions, a shopping center, trendy restaurants and an enjoyable cable car ride you can't miss out on. On top of this, the amazing Lisbon Oceanarium (one of the most spectacular things you'll ever see in the city) will take your breath away: its respect and will to preserve natural wildlife is uncanny. Easily accessible by metro, bus or taxi from the city center, Parque das Nações is highly recommended for anyone who'll spend more than 3 days in the Portuguese capital.
