One of the worst hostels I have ever stayed in. The bedrooms are small and if they are full, really crowded. I stayed in the room for 8, and we literally had to jump over each others things because there was no storage space provided. The beds were really uncomfortable, the mattress was really thin so you can feel the... More

Firstly, I don't even understand why this place has great reviews on HostelWorld and TripAdvisor. The good thing was that the staff were amazing, very friendly and helpful. But that's where the good things end. The rooms are small, dirty and stuffy. The temperature in Lisbon gets up to 35 degrees in the summer and the rooms don't have fans... More

There were some great things about this hostel - the reception staff were friendly and kind, it felt safe, and the nightly Brazilian Style BBQ is amazing in both quality and value. Definitely great reasons to choose to stay here. However, these are a lot of things I wish I had known about when I was choosing between this hostel... More

I stayed in a mixed dorm 6 bed room, I met some lovely people and the staff were helpful! I think it's a good location, it's about a 10 minute walk to the Rossi square and I really liked this location. The walk into town was pleasant and it was safe. The room was clean and there was very little... More

Pros: Really friendly and helpful staff, who are also English speaking Good vibe, with sangria nights and other fun social opportunities Clean, great wifi Cons: Common spaces and rooms are pretty small and feel a little cramped, although this may be normal in Lisbon? Lack of privacy in bathrooms, they were tiny and the shower I used had glass doors... More

This is definately a gem stone among the hostels in the world. Despite Portugal has some excellent hostels, lisbon chillout lounge hostel is still outstanding due to the kind staff, the great location directly in the heart of the city and the excellent rooms and service quality. I was happy to have stayed here already a couple of times.

Stayed here three nights- just left this morning! I really enjoyed my stay here. The hostel was very easy to get to on the subway from the airport. In addition, it's in a great location. It's outside of all the action, so it's quiet, but only about a 10-15 minute walk away from the main area of town. The staff... More

Stayed there for 2 nights. EUR10 per night in a shared room with 7 more people. Good bed, good sheets, good pillow, clean place, very well located and cheap beer. Only the bathroom was not thaat good because was too small, but totally fine. I spoke with some people from the staff and they were all very nice and kind.

I strongly recommend this hostel in Lisbon. It is such a welcoming and cozy place, with great atmosphere and lovely decoration. The rooms are nice and comfortable and the staff is just so nice. I highly recommend this hostel and I'm coming back again soon (hopefully).
