Great hotel. Get a front facing room for a fantastic view of the park that will take your breath away. Big, clean room. Quiet despite being in a central location and right by hop on hop off bus, local bus, and metro stops. Helpful staff, great breakfast.

Great location, in front of Metro Marques de Pombal, nice neighbourhood, main attractions 2 metro stations away or a 20 minute walk. Spacious and clean rooms with good breakfast. The only downside is that there is free internet only at the reception areas, not in the rooms. Front rooms (more expensive) overlkook a beuatiful park. Staff is quite helpful. As...

We stay for three nights at the hotel, and it offered very good rooms for the price. The hotel has an excelent location, just at the Marques de Pombal crossroads, so it has the subway station just one block. But even if you like it is relatively close to go downtown walking. The hotel is a three-star, hence it does...

Very good hotel, with standart international hotel rooms. It is like a Holiday Inn, but with better and bigger rooms. Despite beeing a couple, we were given two (very big) beds that we joined together. No problem because we only stayed two nights. The bathroom is big so the shower could have more space, but nothing that bottered us. Our...

Just returned from a few days at the HF Fenix Garden and I concur with most of what has been written recently about this hotel. Situated right next to the Marques de Pombal Metro station, near a multitude of bus routes including the Aerobus which stops nearby, as do the many city sightseeing tours. The rooms were clean, staff efficient...

We stayed at the hotel from Sunday to Thursday. It is in a great location just across from the park, bus stop and metro stop outside the hotel, only a 10 minute walk downhill to a huge selection of restaurants/bars. The room was spotless, we were on the 8th Floor looking out over the garden. Breakfast was great, hot and cold...

My room in the top floor has a big terrace with wonderful city views but the room is basic as the entire hotel. The breakfast is simple and there is only one machine coffee for many persons. The location is good, near metro, near restaurants and near sigthseen stop.

Stayed at Fenix Garden from 13th-17th April , good hotel, good location etc, etc. Then got caught up in volcanic ash fiasco and were dumped by our airline BMIBaby, with no accomodation, no help , just cancelled till week later! HF Fenix Garden to the rescue!! We rang the hotel and although fully booked, they arranged for us to stay...

Official Description (provided by the hotel)
An urban haven where the commotion does not enter. To enjoy the city does not mean you need to do without some peace and privacy. The HF Fénix Garden provides the desirable paradox of staying in the heart of Lisbon and feeling protected from all stress. The referential acoustic insulation allows you to observe the city bustle from the window as if it is not real. A strange feeling of seclusion kept in the wide aisles and common areas where, even if the hotel is full, you can feel peace. The decoration and comfort of the HF Fénix Garden make you forget the city and even that you are in a three star hotel. Something that you will only remember on check-out. Very closed to the hotel is Marquês de Pombal, several of Lisbon's main points of interest and all the transportation networks in the city. The HF Fénix Garden offers several free services, such as Internet access in the entire hotel. But the most surprising offer is the feeling of staying in an oasis in the middle of the city. ... more   less
