I can't say enough good things about the Somewhere Estoril Guesthouse. All areas of the hotel are beautifully furnished, and the rooms are very spacious and comfortable. The bed was one of the comfiest I've slept on and the breakfast was delicious. Best of all are the staff, they are so friendly and polite, and they made our stay a real pleasure.
The hotel itself is just a short walk from Estoril train station, and we were able to easily order an Uber for visiting other areas. There's also a lot of great bars and restaurants within walking distance, and getting to Cascais is a lovely walk along the seafront.

I stayed here for one night only as a single traveller. I was in Estoril to watch football. The accomodation is about a 10 minute stroll from the Estoril train station. It's on a side street with access through a metal gate.

The accommodation is superb. The room I had was large and very modern. No tea or coffee facilities but, there was water on offer. The breakfast choice was adequate for my requirements. Overall, I e joyed my stay and would recommend the accomodation if you're visiting this beautiful part of Portugal. As I say, I was in Estoril to watch football. The ground was a 25 minute walk away from the accomodation.

Nice stay! We spent 3 nights here.
They upgraded our room with a one with a huge balcony for free.
Room was always clean.
Breakfast was nice with lots of fresh fruit and they did a good job with eggs.
Nice location to reach easily train and the beach.

In Estoril for 3 nights and this was perfect. A little guest house central to Estoril. 10 min walk to the beach or train station. 30 min walk to Cascais where there are plenty to eat.

Super friendly staff. We got here early for check in but we couldn’t use the pool. Very helpful also. The pool is lovely, small but perfect after a day at the beach or just walking around.

Breakfast was simple but plenty to choose from. Also eggs cooked to order.

Price is also really good in what is an otherwise an overpriced area.

Highly recommend this guest house.

Pictures are off the common area and not the room.

Just WOW! The hotel was beautiful as were the rooms, the breakfast was delicious but above all the staff were AMAZING! They truly made our stay magical. They couldnt do enough for us and boy did we ask for alot 😄 (long story) but the staff granted all our request and never made us feel like it was to much. We will be coming back to stay at this fab hotel in the near future. Love Liam & Alex

We stayed as a family of 4 in 2 double room with terrace. We were allocated rooms next door which was helpful. Rooms modern and clean, quite small but the outdoor space was nice. The hotel lounge and sitting areas stylish and relaxing. As a guesthouse more peaceful and homely than hotel, liked the design and layout. Good location for beach and station. Dipping pool is nice to cool down. Bar area we didn't use. Breakfast self service and can order eggs. Good selection and nice food . Staff helpful and friendly. We visited a small supermarket nr the casino and gardens. Cafe vani nextdoor to this is great for lunch and reasonably priced. We walked along the seafront to caiscais in the evening and ate there..really relaxing break. We got a train from Lisbon only 35 mins. Taxi to airport approx €25. Would definitely book again if in the area

We took our in-laws to Estoril for 3 nights over the last weekend in January. We found The Somewhere Guesthouse on Booking.com. We used the subway from the airport to Lisbon and then transferred to the coastal train to Estoril, it only took a little over 1 hour. You get a green ticket that you can top up as you go, (a bit like an Oyster card)
The Somewhere is a leisurely 10 min walk from the station. It's only 6 months old and is a beautiful building, the interior is very modern/contemporary in design. The staff were very helpful. The rooms are big, the beds comfortable and lovely bathrooms. (If you can't step over a bath side into the shower ask for a walk in shower). Perhaps the only thing the room could do with is tea/coffee making stuff that said there's always staff downstairs to make you a drink. The continental breakfast is great. Plenty to go at, cereal, croissants, bread, ham, cheese, fruit, cakes and they will make, boiled/scrambled eggs or an omelette if you want. We didn't have any evening meal there. Ask them for directions to the 'locals' restaurant which is about a 5 minute walk away. It is fantastic and you'd never know it was there. We didn't have any of the fish but the meat portions were amazing. I had a veal cutlet and it would have fed all 4 of us!!! The prices are great, 4 of us had a main course each, 2 beers, 1 ltr wine, 1 starter, 2 sweets and 2 coffees all for 51 Euro's! We went back next night too!
We got the train into Lisbon, took about 35 mins, and did a couple of the sightseeing 'Yellow bus' tours,(Blue line in the morning and the Purple one in the afternoon, a brilliant way to find out all about Lisbon.
On our 2nd day we got the bus to Cascais just up the coast. This is a fantastic little town, lots of little shops and roads to explore as well as the marina area. My wife and I walked back to Estoril along the seaside board walk. It is a beautiful walk. It is a lot less distance and easier than the guides seem to make out. We got to Estoril in 20 mins at a leisurely pace, so we carried on to San Jaon and then came back, sat in a bar and drank Sangria watching the many surfers!
We went to the Casino for our last night and eat in the Nobre Estoril restaurant, a very nice meal, somewhat more expensive than the other two nights but it was special. We had a little gamble too.
The Somewhere staff organised an early breakfast at 7.30am the next morning and got us a taxi to the airport..
Overall Estoril is a beautiful place and you'll go a long way to beat The Somewhere for accommodation.

Felt like a nice place, cool for transit staying, great reception area and pool. Felt a bit small and the room was a bit humid. Breakfast was ok but few ingredients. Coffee options could be better. Great selection of furniture. Good for business trips, not amazing place for tourism.

Nicely located at walking distance from the beach (10 mn). We had a room on the second floor but there is a lift available. Shower functioned excellent. Heating was also very good. But... Breakfast was basic. No coffee or tea in the room. Welcome was 'economical'. A smile is free of charge...

Very pleased with this hotel, stayed for four nights just over a week ago. Whole hotel is decorated in a modern style with nice bright rooms. Comfortable beds, lovely breakfast in the morning with a good choice including the option of tasty pancakes or omelettes, and the fridge in the room was well stocked a complimentary selection of drinks.
