Nestled conveniently close to Cascais, Sintra, and Lisbon, the Palácio Estoril Hotel, Golf & Wellness is celebrated for its serene ambiance and elegant location. While guests commend the comfortable beds and grandeur of the communal areas, the charm is occasionally marred by reports of outdated facilities and inconsistent housekeeping. Despite mixed reviews concerning value, with some guests deeming it expensive, the hotel's attentive service and upscale amenities like the spa and golf course often receive high marks. However, noise and maintenance issues are noted detractors.

Everything here was professional. The mattress was very comfortable. The amenities in the bathroom were top notch. Full buffet breakfast excellent quality. Free parking for hotel guest. The hotel concierge was very knowledgeable. Had a very wonderful stay. The area is also a very nice area to walk around.

Lord have mercy, we did not get good night sleep the entire stay. Our room backs to the housekeeper closet and they are NOT considerate about guests sleeping. Every morning at 7:10 (the sun has not come up yet) they start banging things against the walls. The hinges to a door in said closet are squeaky and loud. But the final straw was last night, at 9 pm someone banged something so significant against the wall our bed shares with this closet the bed actually shook! And then at MIDNIGHT someone was back in this closet and banged against the wall again. It should be mandatory for every front desk employee to experience how terrible our room is before looking a guest in the eyes and handing them the key.

We are regularly coming to HP to spend a golfvacation in the beautiful region of Lisbon/Estoril/Cascais ⛳ LOCATION: just a busy road between the beautiful beachwalk and the hotel. Close to the train station where you can catch the train for a cheap and scenic ride to Lisbon. Cascais is in walking distance. Casino Estoril&park is a 5 minutes walk away. STAFF: is the real asset of this hotel, you are treated like royalty. Great customer care. Good mixture of senior staff and younger employees learning from them. BREAKFAST: outstanding buffet with large choice of fresh food, but also egg station where you order what you want. Sparkling wine is included in the buffet 🥂 HOUSEKEEPING: friendly, helpful, turndown service with weather information and chocolate. Excellent bath products (Molton Brown). ROOMS: classic, traditional, old style design. WIFI: perfect HOTEL BAR: not to be missed, good choice&service, plenty of complimentary chips, almonds and olives with your drinks. GOLF: the oldest GC Portugals (GC Estoril) is just a 5 minutes (free) shuttle ride away ⛳ WELLNESS: outstanding Banyan Tree spa and outdoor swimming pool with a nice well kept garden. FOUR SEASONS GRILL: delicious, tasty food in a back in time ambience 😋 Hope to come back soon and enjoy the great hospitality in the HP 🌞

My wife and I visited Palacio Estoril for a baby moon in October and had a magnificent time. The hotel holds a ton of history and is very charming. The location is peaceful and convenient; Cascais is walking distance or a quick drive, you’re close to Sintra and Lisbon is about 30-40 minutes away in an Uber. Beatrice at breakfast was always quick to get us our table and helpful with all of our requests. One night we were invited by Nuno and Domingos to an exquisite, multi-course wine dinner held at the hotel. We met other guests from around the world—it was a very try fun night! The highlight of our trip was The Banyan Tree spa. We did the Sense of Rejuvenation package and it was well worth it. Vera was so helpful and accommodating of our schedule. Every single treatment we had was 5 star. Request Swanie and Nat whenever possible. They are unbelievable therapists. If you’re looking for a luxurious, relaxing resort experience close to all that Lisbon has to offer, you’ll really enjoy Palacio Estoril.

The staff are enormously friendly and helpful. The breakfast buffet is great. The hotel communal areas are very grand, comfortable and welcoming and the parking is convenient. But. The hotel is noisy, the rooms are small given what you pay for them the beds are very uncomfortable.

This was our second visit to The Palacio. We thoroughly enjoyed our week and came away feeling relaxed and refreshed. The hotel itself is stunning and the staff are very courteous and attentive. The pool and surrounding gardens are maintained to a very high standard and the spa is an added bonus. Cascais is a pleasant 20 minute walk along the seafront and has a huge variety of excellent restaurants. Lisbon is 30 minutes by train from Estoril station.

The hotel itself is a classic. This is enhanced by delightful ant attentive staff. The food is a bit variable but a Salad Nicoise overlooking the pool is hard to beat. Estoril and Cascais are lovely and have a proper seaside feel. The concierge will happily recommend good authentic restaurants. We will be back.

When we arrived we were excited, but as you peeled back the skin , it shows it is not a 5 star hotel today. Nice room but our door lock does not work, have to get staff to let us in. Housekeeping is poor, washrooms not properly cleaned, take our used glasses away but do not replace them . Have asked 3 times for glasses none have shown up yet . Had dinner in Terrace restaurant this evening, absolute disaster, food and serve were terrible, 3 of us had nothing to eat ( never came or not edible ), 2 others steaks were well done but asked for medium rare , oysters were not fresh. They state that the hotel is a golf resort. Extremely disappointing and if they have a greens keeper they should be fired. Do not come to play golf. The hotel needs a make over and updated for new technology, no iPhone plugins and have plugs that do not work , It was a grand hotel in its past , but does not live up to a 5 star hotel today . We really were looking forward to our stay and hotel with so much history .

This was my 18th visit to this wonderful hotel and looking to book my 19th visit for next year. The staff are amazing - always so helpful and friendly - nothing is too much trouble for them - over the many years it feels like going home to my second family at Hotel Palacio The breakfasts are fantastic - so much fresh and wonderful food, well cooked and the egg service bar which was new this year was very welcome addition - so good to be able to order your eggs cooked exactly as you like them. The rooms are so spacious and comfortable, the beds so comfy and lovely soft pillows - bedding changed each day and fresh towels in the bathroom twice a day. The pool area is delightful and excellent service form the poolside bar for food and drinks if required. Yes, there is sometimes noise from events in the Casino gardens but that is out of the control of the hotel. Overall this hotel is excellent and I wouldn't stay anywhere else. Looking forward to being able to book for next year again. Definitely recommend
