Shared a triple room with balcony with two friends on a four day package holiday. I slept on a perfectly adequate fold up bed. Our room looked over towards the pool so the sun shone on our balcony in the morning. The shower was a good size and provided a fabulous deluge of hot water though there it was evident...

Now after I traveled across Portugal I can say that when visiting Lisbon is better to stay In Estoril which offers a quite and stylish neighborhood close to the ocean. Being such a piece of heaven Estoril Hotels are quite expensive but Lido Hotel seems to manage to give quality at acceptable prices which for a traveler like me is...

The room was a bit old fashioned, as most of the hotel, but it was large and comfortable. The staff was friendly and kind. Great swimming pool area. The only downside was a continuous machine noise that we could hear most of the time. Anyway, it was a good experience overall.

We stayed at this hotel twice and found it good. The location is very good. Estoril is a very peasant place and this hotel is quite close to the train station so it is quite easy to visit Lisbon if you are staying at this hotel. From Estoril one can easily go to Cascais too. Some people even walk and...

Fine for the money (we paid under £50 a night) but a little mean - safe was 1.50 a day, wifi 1.50 for 15 mins and signs up at breakfast telling you not to take food out etc. Dead cockroach in our blanket. There's no entertainment or alcohol served so a little dull if you want to spend the day...

The hotel is in need of renovation. The pool area is okay if you like pigeons ;) I didn't perceive the housekeeping as okay since the bathroom was dirty already from the beginning. The fridge turns of when you leave the room, makes it useless. Next time I will stay in cascais instead and skip the pool.

In general - not bad. Quiet place (if You need a peaceful place for a good sleep) but on the other hand quite a long walk to the beach. Breakfast (if You compare the hotel with those on Costa Brava in Spain) satisfactory but on the other hand the assortment of hams and cheese reduced to ... one. The same...

(+) Great location: close enough to the casino, cafés, beach so we could walk there, far enough to be quiet. Calm and safe neighborhood, we could easily walk from the main street to the hotel by night. Swimming pool is adequate and pleasant, and our room had a balcony facing it. Rooms are very well cleaned daily, cleaning staff is...

I've stayed at Lido three times, twice for the Optimus/NOS Alive festival in Lisbon and it beats camping hands down. Yes, the rooms are a little threadbare, but they're clean, comfortable and quiet (though the toilet does have the most violent and noisy flush the world has ever seen/heard) and have all the things you need. Breakfast isn't up to...

It's a smallish hotel located in a quiet neighborhood. The walk to the hotel from the beach is fairly steep. It could be quite a nice place but it lacks care and maintenance, which makes it a reasonable, cheap place to stay. Upon arrival the reception didn't have any registration of our prepaid, confirmed voucher. After a lot of computer...
