On our way to Lisbon we slept one night on this hotel with free parking. Rooms are big and clean but everything feels rather old. I can imagine that in the 60's this hotel was state of the art, but now it needs a renovation. On the other side the sea view from our room was just stunning. Pool is...

We stayed for one night in this hotel during our visit to Sintra and around. All rooms have ocean view (as mentioned, you definitely hear the waves). It's a 2 min walk to the adjacent Praia Grande. The hotel was very quiet due to low season. The room was very big, basic, with a balcony overlooking the gigantic pool (closed)....

A super hotel. Clean and with wonderful views of the Atlantic. You are so close to the ocean that the roar of the waves, which regularly crash against the wall of the hotel, is a constant holiday companion. Very good choice for breakfast. CAUTION: this is not the town of Sintra! I mistakingly thought it was and was bemused why the...

The aptly named Arribas is built into a cliff overlooking the Atlantic and has a stunning view of the thundering waves. The hotel has been in operation for nearly 50 years and is a straightforward three star focussed on tour groups. One of its main attractions is an enormous sea-water pool, claimed to be one of the biggest in Europe...

Whats not to like? All the rooms have balconies and sea views - rather wonderful ones! The famiy room is a suite - admittedly,as has been mentioned, the kids twin room had no windows but they only slept in it! (and meant they didn't wake with the sunrise). THe pool is immense and even on a busy summer's day there...

Good value hotel. Pool enormous, but the draw card is the seafront setting. Stunning beach - amazing sunsets. Don't miss the great little bar along the beachfront - toasted sandwiches a steal for eur3 and are massive! The eur4 caipirinha's are highly recommended too! Personally, next time I would rather stay in Sintra , and come out here for a...

I am suprised this hotel has only a 3 star rating as i have stayed in four star that dont come close to this. I have read the previous reviews and am also suprised at the "its dated" comments. An Aston Martin DB6 is dated but i bet most men would want to have one- right ?? Other than a...

This hotel is a bit out of the way, about 10 Euro taxi ride from Sintra, but it's totally worth it. The rooms are big, but not amazing (was travelling solo and got a room that had 4 single beds), but the view from my balcony was priceless and the sunset stunning and the price was very cheap. The staff...
