At the resort you get the best service you can imagine. Anything you ask, they do their best to make it happen. The staff is also very (child)friendly! The resort is clean and it’s a beautiful location. I would recommend it to everyone!

Used as a base to visit Sintra one day, Lisbom one day, and hang out in Cascais. Spent plenty of time chilling by the pools during our 5 day stay. We stayed in a studio that was very large and well appointed. Kept spotlessly clean, comfy bed and good facilities. The site was very secure. A car is essential if you are touristing and Bucuda is ideal for this. If it had a bar and gym we would have engaged in vacation mode. Many of the accommodations are owner occupied which adds to the informal, secure ambience. In a nutshell: for us this was the perfect, high quality base for sightseeing and chilling.

Stayed in a one bed villa with our 16 month old baby. Villa was spacious and clean and the pool area was ideal for toddlers and all ages really. Staff were very nice especially the cleaning staff who were extremely efficient and great with our toddler. Some of the appliances are a little dated and the villa furniture was basic...but everything worked perfectly and the bed was really good. The shop onsite was well stocked. Really delighted we decided to cancel Martinhal and come here last minute...much cheaper, more space and more freedom. Taxi's are plentiful and €6-7 in to Cascais town centre.

Stayed for 8 nights in one of the studio apartments, which was the perfect size for what the two of us needed. The kitchen is in a separate room despite being labelled a "studio", which was a nice surprise. The only downsides to the apartment was the absence of a washing machine, so we washed clothes in the sink, and the table on the balcony was a little bit too small for having a meal outside. Other than this, the apartment was very comfortable and airy. Fabulous swimming pools, very quiet and well-kept surroundings. We stayed for the first week of September and there were very few people around, allowing for a relaxing visit. The bakery and supermarket were very convenient with excellent prices. The restaurant served delicious food, although the service was shockingly slow (however, we understand that this is privately managed and not at the discretion of the resort itself). I would definitely recommend the resort to others and would be happy to revisit again.

We stayed in a villa for one week. The resort is approximately a 40 minute straightforward drive from Lisbon airport. The resort is in a quiet area of Cascais, and about a 4km walk from the centre of town, which is doable but tough in the heat. Taxis, however, are plentiful and cheap, although I would recommend a car rental. The resort itself is pleasant, although tired, and could do with a facelift. Many of the villas could do with some paint although I presume they are all privately owned. There is a bakery, which is really good, but closed on Sunday. There is a launderette, which is not necessary as most of the villas have washing machines. There is a small supermarket, which is very inexpensive and reasonably stocked with essentials, and there is a large Lidl store 1km away. There is a restaurant, where the food is good but the setting drab, and this could be upgraded. Surprisingly, there is no bar, and I think this is a mistake. It would be very pleasant to be sitting outdoors having a drink and listening to some music in the evening, This would be popular with guests. There is a lack of facilities at the resort, which could be easily fixed. There are 2 very well maintained and large swimming pools, good for kids, but could be made better with the addition of a slide or 2 into the deep water. There is a small playground for very young children, and you can rent bikes at reception. However, that's it. There is plenty of room to build a couple of tennis courts, which could incorporate a basketball court also, and for a 4-star resort you would expect this. The investment could be easily recouped through tennis lessons, paid for by the guests. In addition, it would be inexpensive and very easy to have outdoor table tennis tables, fussball tables, as well as badminton courts. I would also suggest a running track around the resort, with fitness stations. Again , the investment could be recouped through personal training lessons for the guests. Similar resorts we have been to also have games rooms for kids, with pool tables and video games, and this would again be inexpensive. The villa we stayed in was spacious and clean with 3 large bedrooms, all en-suite. The beds were comfortable, and there was excellent air conditioning. A basic but well appointed kitchen. The living room was comfortable with a large screen TV and good access to Netflix, amazon Prime etc. The villa only provided 1 bath towel per person, which could be cheaply and easily remedied. Some of the outdoor furniture was broken, in keeping with the "tired" look of the resort. The villa we stayed in certainly needed a little bit of landscaping to clip back hedges, and again this is an inexpensive and easy job to do. The whole resort had quite a lot of weeds, which could be dealt with by a couple of hours of spraying. I was expecting a barbeque on the patio, but no such luck. A word of warning when driving. The speedbumps are very high, and not well marked. Cascais itself is lovlely, and the Marina is especially good for dining, particularly with kids. We would recommend Valerio in particular, although they are all good value. The beaches are very clean, especially for a large enough town, although they are small, and get very busy. The beach in Estoril was more accessible. There is a l;ovely cycleway out to Guincho, which is a famous surfing beach. It is not really for swimming, but is worth seeing. There are some nice restaurants all along the coast out to Guincho. Lisbon is easily accessible by train and there is plenty to see and do there.

Housekeeping excellent and so attentive and friendly. Spotlessly clean accommodation and grounds with friendly security. Beautiful pools and such a treat to have a cafe, shop and restaurant inside the resort which were all excellent and within 30 seconds of our apartment. Loved this place and will come again.

Loved this hotel. We had a studio apartment which was much bigger than expected with a balcony. There are two pools to choose from and they were much needed as we were there during the heatwave. The bakery on site is cheap and has the freshest goods.

We have stayed at Vila Bicuda for a week with our kids aged 7 and 10. Our experience was totally outstanding. Our villa was a perfect fit and size to us with a garden opening directly to the pool area. It is such convenient to have a home set up abroad. Although the villas are not brand new, they are kept so clean and equipped. Management was very responsive simply providing any info accurately and any simple needs, on the spot. The bakery and the supermarket is an add for the quick needs. Cascais town is close by, a short drive of 7-10 min which offers loads. I highly recommend this place for families with kids. We will like coming back again.

We took a studio apartment and that suited us very well for a three night stay. It was a generous space with plenty of seating, a good size comfortable double bed, shower bathroom and medium size moderately equipped kitchen. A balcony with table and chairs led off the living area. There was air con and wifi. The apartment was clean on arrival and was also checked during the day. Wardrobe space was very generous. Given the poor weather throughout our stay we did not use the pool facilities or anything else in the immediate area other than the excellent baker and general store (just yards away). There is also a restaurant on site. There is easy parking, bike hire but no obvious disabled facilities (there may have been but I didn't see any). Reception staff were friendly and helpful and facilitated the printing of the required covid 19 forms etc. This was basic, clean accommodation at a reasonable price and we would be happy to stay there again.
