This has got to be the best positioned hotel in Cascais. Not only is it easy access for the beach and Cascais Marina, but you can watch the world go by from the rooftop sipping a cocktail when you want to get away from the sand in the late afternoon. The service here is great and nothing seems to be a problem for the staff. We stayed on the 3rd floor and the seaview room was recently renovated twin room. Beds were comfortable and the room and bathroom were very clean. Breakfast was plentiful and delicious. Really enjoyed the stay and will definitely return.

Great location, clean and comfortable rooms and lovely staff. We stayed for two days and had a great trip. They organised eBikes and surfing lessons for us - ticked all the boxes for me - I’ll be back!

Really enjoyed our visit to Cascais and our stay at The Baia Hotel. The hotel is in a fabulous location and the ambience is so relaxing. However we would like to mention David on the reception desk. He alone, made our stay so enjoyable and the few requests I made were sorted immediately. He has a lovely personality. If were in HR or management I would really value a staff member of such calibre. Thank you David for all your help and for making our stay at The Baia so enjoyable.

The location is amazing! Right in the heart of Cascais. The sunroof was also really nice and relaxing with views of the harbor/beach. The room was nice as well (nothing special). The breakfast was quite elaborate but nothing special either. The lunch at the restaurant however was very nice! Nice setting overlooking the harbor from the terrace. Walking distance to shops and restaurants. Location is amazing and the building iconic!

Great location- easy walk from the train and central to everything you would need in town. The rooftop bar and lounger area was a pleasant surprise- and really appreciated being able to use that when we arrived too early to check in to our room. Room was lovely- air con is a bit dated but worked and the balcony had a lovely view. Bathroom was good size with decent shower. Breakfast was tasty, as was lunch at the pool bar upstairs- we didn’t use the downstairs bar which seemed a bit quiet. Only improvement would be a room for guests to change/shower for late leavers- only option was pool shower up in the room- but luggage room is on ground floor- so little bit awkward.

This hotel has hands-down the best location in the central waterfront area of Cascais, within easy walking distance of everything in the village, and in relatively easy walking distance of the train and bus stations, as well as supermarkets, restaurants, and shops. The very pleasant, courteous, and helpful front desk staff, and room staff, especially Raphael and Fátima are definite stand-out examples of the best in hotel employees. The rooftop pool area and outside deck, as well as the giant, everyday buffet breakfast are definite gems that make Hotel Baia one of the very best stays that you'll have in Portugal!

This is a great hotel! The rooms are newly renovated and clean, the beds are firm and comfortable, the bathrooms are up-to-date, the breakfast is sumptuous and way more than we expected, and the staff are incredible. In fact, from the moment you arrive and are greeted by ice water flavoured with fruits and cucumbers, everything is perfect. The hotel is right on the beach, which could make it a bit noisy on weekends, but that just adds to the fun and excitement. We will be back!

We upgraded for the sea view and it was worth it as you get a balcony. With this you overlook the beach, fishing boats and the fort. Breakfast was an extensive buffet and you can sit in or out. Rooftop pool and bar were fun. Parking is shared with a public underground lot so you may have to wait for a spot.

Tired property with unhelpful staff. Strange elevator type music was playing in our room all night. No way to turn it off. When we asked to change to a different room, they just said all the rooms were the same. Really? We checked out after one night and found a much better accommodation for two more nights. No refund.

Dear Guest, it is unfortunate that you felt disappointed with your stay with us. Our team works tirelessly for the exact opposite so be assured that we will look into your stay and review your room and staff interactions so that we can take any appropriate corrective measures. There is indeed an in-room sound system, you may select the channel, volume and turn it on or off on your nightstand, right beside the light switches. We are checking if it was inoperacional for any reason. Hope to earn your trust again in the future.
