Previous reviews have said almost enough... but, breakfast is no longer available, neither included nor paid separately. For the 81 year old owner who has operated this place for nearly 60 years, nor the daughter who runs it and because guests want more than bread and coffee, they have done away with it completely. No problem, Cafe Montanha is downstairs,... More

The rooms in this old hotel are nice and very clean. We stayed on the second floor and had a bedroom and seperate livingroom and shower. Our daughters only had a bedroom with shower. Both with AC. The rooms were at the frontside of the hotel and were quiet. The wifi is free but a little poor signal. There was... More

You could not ask for a better location from a hotel in Coimbra. Literally right on the main cafe square you walk downstairs and out the door into the hustle and bustle of downtown life. About 600 metres from the train station and next to bus stops it is exceptionally easy to get to and prices even in summer were... More

The room was not fancy but spacious and clean, and overlooked a popular and attractive square at the foot of the hill where the old university is located. Despite the location, the room was a quiet oasis. The only drawbacks were a lack of elevator, and no dedicated parking. There was public parking across the street near the river, but... More

My husband and I stayed in this hotel two nights. Everything worked perfectly: the location of this hotel is superb for exploring the city on foot, rooms were very clean and the staff extremely kind and friendly. There are cheap parkings immediately close to the hotel or free public parkings a few hundred meters far. The hotel is not luxurious... More

We stayed at the Hotel Larbelo in Coimbra and this hotel is perfectly located in the middle of the square across the street from the river. It is about a 5 minute walk from Coimbra A train station, which was perfect as we took the train from Lisbon, and is along the main shopping district in Coimbra’s old town. The... More

Very clean, extremely cheap for our room and sitting room. Wifi worked well and we had english language on the TV. We rate it four star because of value for money. It was amazing. Due for a major refurbishment but still worthy of 4 stars.

The location of this hotel is superb for exploring the city on foot. There is free public parking just across the bridge - next to the stadium. It's 2 minutes on foot from the hotel and i would suggest you go park your car there and then go to the hotel - getting to the hotel by car was challenging... More

This is a one star hotel so don't expect other than basic things. The hotel position is perfect in the very center of Coimbra, at the Mondego river bank, and at the beginning of the pedestrian street. It is also great for parking as there is a big parking space across the street by the river, if you don't find... More

The location could not be more central, the room was clean but the hotel is definitely old and they are not investing in it. Two of the most disappointing things were the fact that we booked it because of its location, wifi, and parking (we were there by car) and the wifi was only in the small lobby and there... More
