The decor was probably the best part of this hostel: it was decorated with modern touches, and the rooms were kept spotlessly clean. Their guest kitchen (where they serve a nice breakfast) and lounge were my favorite hangout spots. The staff were helpful and gave us good advice for our activities. The location couldn't have been more central - perfect... More

This hostel is located a very close (less than 30 second walk) to a beautiful canal, amazing restaurants and cafes, and a short drive to Costa Nova beach and Barra. The bed was extremely comfortable, it was clean, the common areas were light and lovely and the staff really friendly.

We really enjoyed our stay at the Aveiro Rossio Hostel. We did a trip along the west coast of Portugal and this hostel is the one we liked the most. The people who work there are very friendly and everybody's very social, we got to know a lot of people. It's very beautiful designed (especially the living room) and you... More

For 22 euros, I stayed in a 6 bunk form that was very clean, with beautiful Windows and hard wood floors. The women's bathroom has three showers and are heated with solar energy. There is a blow drier available if needed. The cost of the bed included breakfast, which was an offering of oatmeal, granola, corn flakes, meat and cheese,... More

I stayed in Aveiro for four nights and the four nights in this hostel felt like a home far away from home. The staff member were so nice and friendly always there for you to answer questions and solve problems. You meet people so easily, because it feels like a big family for a short time. Breakfast is really good.... More

Almost all hostels in Portugal seem to be great. This one has the positive points of great decoration, not having bunk beds, having a good breakfast (with home made cake) and being eco-friendly (and informative about it). It felt like home right away and was very clean.

It's a really nice house, the rooms were big, the bathrooms were really clean, the commons area were really cozy and there was a few places to hang out. It's a really good hostel to meet people. The staff was really friendly and the breakfast was good as well. The location is also perfect. One of my favourite hostel!

When my eldest daughter studied in Aveiro for a couple of months, she stayed at Rossio Hostel. In February 2015, I came over to visit her, and also stayed here. We had a so-called private ensuite room, Marnoto, which had its own little bathroom. It was a very cosy room, and the bathroom fitted us perfectly. The view from the... More
