Hotel located between the city center and the botanical garden in a quiet area of Ponta Delgada. It is a totally new hotel where the room is simple but comfortable. Minimalist furniture as there is no conventional wardrobe. The room is silent in part because the vast majority of the rooms do not face the street but rather an interior outdoor patio. It has a work table, safe, small refrigerator and kettle for teas that are complimentary, however the bottle of water is chargeable. Bathroom with shower tray. Complimentary gel with shampoo and conditioner via dispenser. Single beds with well-kept and comfortable mattresses. The rooms have a terrace with table and chair. Breakfast with variety although if you are going to stay for many days they never even change the cold cuts so you end up tired of always having the same breakfast. It is easy to park for free at the hotel because even if the parking spaces run out, there is an additional esplanade. It is easy to get to the port area by walking (10-15 minutes). If you leave before breakfast service they offer you a small packed lunch. It is a totally recommended hotel to be able to rest.

Somehow only rated 3 stars but an excellent place to stay in Ponta Delgada. It's no more than a 10-15 minute walk to the main square.
The Room we stayed in had 2 twin beds and was very spacious and clean Room is newly renovated, including the bathroom with a waterfall showerhead.
Breakfast was included and is a solid start to the day: eggs, bacon, cooked vegetables, two cheeses (the fresh cheese is outstanding), two meats, an assortment of bread/buns, yogurt, cereal, juices, and a coffee station.
The hidden gem is Padaria Gomes - a local bakery - right next door. Do yourself a favour and get over at 9 am to order Malassadas (classic Portuguese donut).

We enjoyed this hotel. room was big and there was a good selection for breakfast. It was a holiday we had our 4 month old baby on and the staff were great with her. The hotel location was in a great spot, we could walk to the town in a few minutes and there was some good restaurants along the street.

A great place to stay! The location is several blocks from the harbor but provides a neighborhood feel. The bed & pillows were comfortable & each room has a nice balcony. Complimentary breakfast was plentiful with eggs, sautéed vegetables, bacon, yogurt, cereal, fresh fruit, & several types of breads. The breakfast staff was very friendly and our room attendant, Carol, was exceptionally helpful. The shower floor is quite slippery so she gave us an extra towel to put inside the shower which made us feel secure. She is a valued employee & we thoroughly enjoyed meeting her! You can park your auto in back of the hotel which is beneficial since the streets are very narrow. There are numerous restaurants within walking distance.

This was a family vacation of 5 adults. We booked 2 rooms, one for 2 guests and the other for 3 ( 3 single beds) The reception desk staff was welcoming and happy to answer our questions. Our rooms were ready. The hotel is not new and not fancy. It is however very clean and has had some renovations. The hotel has 2 floors and does have an elevator plus parking on the property. The rooms are small but very clean. We had a balcony with chairs too. The bathroom was small but updated and very clean. The beds and pillows were very comfortable. Housekeeping was great. The breakfast was a typical hot/cold one. The hotel is in a quiet area and there are some restaurants within walking distance. There is also a “padeira “ (bakery) right next door that has delicious the Portuguese dessert “malcasadas” as well as other goodies. We had a great stay and would definitely recommend.

Our hotel room had some kind of problem with the ventilation in the bathroom. It smelled like sewage! When we complained to the front desk staff, they said that they couldn’t do anything about it until the morning. The next day, they refused to acknowledge the problem. They said that it was the cork wall treatments, or maybe the shower drain plug. They refused to give us a different room, but changed the batteries in the air freshener in the bathroom. They told us that we should never close the bathroom door, and that we should leave a room key in the air conditioning slot 24 hours a day.

I've been there a week with my son. The hotel looks renewed and the facilities are nice, clean, modern. The room is large, clean, with balcony. Tea facilities, fridge, safe, and a powerful and big shower. The location of the hotel is convenient too, very close to the airport (~10EUR with the taxi, 10-15 minutes) and to the main attractions of Ponta Delgada and transports. We used buses for our entire stay, they are reliable and we reached many locations and beaches with them. A nice bakery just outside the hotel
Breakfast is repetitive as it's the same every day and they only have 1 coffee machine, so at times there is a queue to get your drink.

Although advertised as 3-star, I would say 2-star. Horrible sewage smell Bathroom is tiny. Toilet not anchored properly (not stable) sink is broken. Walls peeling. Refrigerator not working No closet- just a bar above the counter next to the TV. Breakfast- coffee was not even warm. Hot foods were cold ( poor food safety?). Toaster barely worked. Lack of ventilation in room- fan on high but very warm and sewage stench- not healthy Not a great location. Very basic. It would be more tolerable without the horrible stench of sewage and some ventilation. It's December and very hot in the room.

Had a lovely comfortable stay at this hotel. Had a triple room as three of us went. The room was clean and shower as well. Staff was accommodating but my cleaner lady Carolina was just tha best! She gave us tips on where to go and even taught me basic Portuguese words as I was struggling lol! Love it when you meet such warm and friendly people. There isn’t a pool and it is in the heart of Ponta Delgada. It is literally 5-10 mins walk from the centre of the city. The breakfast options was good enough for us and started us off right each day. All decor was modern and has a earthy tone. I definitely recommend and would stay here again should I be fortunate to go back.

Room 203, convenient and free parking, 10 minutes walk from La Marina, spacious room, quality bedding, bathroom a little small for 2. Breakfast too repetitive, the orange juice is concentrated. VERY negative point: obligation to slam your bedroom door to close it from the outside, which causes noise in the hallway. No restaurant, where you have to reserve... We ate a burger at the bar, (the only option although the menu offers other snacks) with fries dripping with frying oil.
