This hotel seems nice and was suggested by a travel book I bought, but while trying to reserve 6 rooms, the reception was wuite dishonest and gave the rooms away without letting me know. This put me and my whole gropu in a very bad situation, since it has been very hard to find another place. So, if you wish...

The standard room is quite big, nice bed, nice bathroom, very clean. A pretty good breakfast for a small pension. The staff is very attentive and available for any clarification. They also have environmental concerns, which is a plus. The price is fair. If If I go back to Faial , I stay here for sure.

The staff were very good, helpful and friendly. The outside space was a great place to relax at the end of the day. We had a 4 night stay. The room was small our cases remained on the floor throughout our stay. The wardrobe was difficult to get to (cases in the way) in the end I lived out of...

Simple, but clean, warm and the comfiest bed I slept in in the Azores, and the warmest shower I had as well! Staff were really friendly and helpful and breakfast was delicious. Excellent value for money and if I ever go back to Horta, this is where I will try and stay.

Hidden away behind the market, this is just a nice little place with no frills of pretentions and great value for money. There were only 2 of us staying there at the time, but there was still a decent breakfast buffet, and they have vending machines, a small garden, and - what a find in Portugal !! - tea and...

Two nights in Horta and we were able to stay at Casa do Lado for under 95 Euros that was our main concern. We were on the top floor in a somewhat stark wood trimmed room but the facilities were modern and the hot water was plentiful. Towels were nice and sheets were clean and fresh. The beds were comfortable...

I booked one night here for my layover and was surprised by how nice it was. The rooms are very clean and the mattresses are more comfortable than other places I've stayed on the islands. There are fans/ TV's in each room and some have balconies. The free breakfast was really good with local foods like bread, cheeses, jams and...

We got what they call the luxury room, once entered we though it was far from luxury, then we understood that luxury was for the nice view over the mount Pico and the size of the room. The breakfast was surprising excellent, with home made yogurts and grapes and figs confiture. The people very nice too always available to help...

The rooms are small (at least mine was) and simple but very nicely done. The staff were very nice and helpful, and most speak English well. Booking was easy via email. The location is great, at the far end of town near the university and the new ferry terminal and away from the hustle and bustle of the waterfront, though...
