My partner and I work freelance and booked the Don Tenorio after being assured by the staff that Wi-Fi was available in public areas. When we arrived, the internet wasn't working. Unfortunately the internet wasn't fixed during our stay, which meant we had to work elsewhere in Sagres throughout the week. But the apartment itself was very comfortable and spacious...

Of our 2 weeks in Portugal this was the single bad experience we had. The owner of this hotel is the single rudest man I have met in years and a deeply unlikable person. The hotel itself is very average being a 1970s block on the outskirts of town and not within walking distance of the bars and restaurants in...

If you are going to surf in the neighborhood of Sagres, Don Tenorio may be a good choice. Affordable price, wide rooms, very clean but a bit dated. However I always feel good in a place where you can lay down on a clean sheet after a good beach day. Forget the breakfast, go on foot to the store next...

The cooker gave my husband an electric shock. The owner blamed him for cooking with water in a pot. The children had cooked there the previous day, so lucky escape. The owner shouted rudely at us several times. I had to stand in the way because I thought he would be less likely to assault me than my husband. The...

Owner of the establishment does not understand what is the meaning of hospitality. Instead of being respectful and polite to clients the owner is constantly yelling and berating guests at any time for nonsense. For a apartment hotel one would expect a functioning stove / oven. Not at this place there was no oven but a malfunctioning electric burner that...

Bad bad bad experience. We are travelling on the road so we have really low expectations on our stays but this time the experience was really disappointing. Wi fi not working properly in the rooms, and use forbidden in the restaurant during breakfast. Poor breakfast and low quality. But worse than this the staff...arrogant and not helpful at all. We...

I really dont know where to start... this hotel has lot of bad things. Is it normal to prohibit people to use there phones, laptops, etc during breakfast? In here it is. Not a joke. From 7am to about mid day thats a hotel rule. The room itself was not too shaby but there was no decoration at all. The beds...

***A V O I D *** If you are a foreigner visiting the Algarve, and if by any chance you ended up in this place, please do not get the impression that the country is like this. Not being a 5 star hotel is fine, but being rude and unpolite with customers is too much. Breakfast terrible. Employees ask clients...

We paid 118€ for a room for one night!! (not an apart with kitchenette just a room!). it is the most expensive hotel I have been in my life and one of the worst. Hotel decoration is inexistent, just a few plastic plants. Room was dirty and there was water on the floor. Material in the room is cheap and...
