I first stayed here in July 2020 and I loved it so much that I decided to come back in August. Fiona is a wonderful host, very service minded and super friendly, she really makes you feel at home. The entire B&B is absolutly spotless, the rooms are well decorated and superclean, as is the very spacious bathroom. I stayed in the twin room which has a very large shower (actually two seperate showers in the same showerroom) but there is also a double room that has the same showers but also a very modern bath. There are actually just two rooms with no space for extra beds so that means that there is only a maximum occupancy of 4 people which guarantees the peace and quiet. You feel like having rented a private house. The room also has a stocked mini-bar and coffee and tea facilities (oh, and she knows exactly what kind of tea you like so the next day you find more teabags of your favourite taste, excellent!). Breakfast is served at the terrace with beautifull views of the Algarve coast, at any time you like, just make arrangements the day before and say at what time you want to have breakfast and what you would like to have. The quality of the breakfast products is excellent, everything freshly made. There is a nice, big garden and pool area that has the same Algarve views. Quality loungers and umbrellas are provided. When I left, they started some renovation work of the pool area (new lights, deep cleaning of the pool itself so the tiles and 'white lines' between the tiles will be brighter). The pool was already clean but after these works, with new water etc. it will look even better. There is also a fully equiped gym. The location of this B&B is a bit remote, no shops, bars or restaurants at walking distance so you will absolutley need a car (or taxi) to get you there. But that is just what I came here for, absolute peace and quiet, so that means: no music, no noise, just the sound of the wind, the trees, and crickets... The nearest town is about 15-20 minutes driving, so if you want something to see and do at walking distance this might not be the place for you, but if you like to have a relaxing stay, you should absolutley book here! I will certainly come back next year!

Husband and I spent a wonderful quit relaxing 5 nights at Mar De Luz guesthouse. It was a gorgeous house, pool and grounds located in the center of Algarve. It is a wonderful location to spent your time exploring the area. Our host was welcoming and warm and made us feel like family. We had a fabulous views of the valley and ocean. Top notch breakfast . Great attention to detail in all things. You do need a car to get around and see the sights. Also road to guesthouse is a bit rough.
