Perhaps it was the wrong time to visit Faro but the entire town was pretty quiet during our visit. Consequently, the hostel was nearly empty barring a few guests, so I am not very sure how it is during the summer season. What I can vouch for are the clean and well maintained rooms. The hostel looks extremely pretty from...

Very reasonably priced rooms to share, beautifully decorated and furnished for a hostel, the sweetest staff, and great service! Slightly noisy and lights un the hallway going on and off but nothing ear plugs and an eye mask can't fix.

This is one of the best hostels I've stayed in. The place is full of character, has a decent breakfast and friendly staff. It's a great place for meeting people. I loved the roof terrace. They sell cheap beers and the laundry facilities are cheap to use. I would stay again if I come back to Faro.

The building is very well located in a nice part of town. Also, the facilities are pretty good. However, my experience was ruined by the overly rude and unhelpful staff as well as the very poor quality internet. It put a real dampener on my time here.

Dearest Xavier, Over one year has passed since your failed stay in our hostel, but nonetheless we'd like to let you and the TripAdvisor community know, that thanks to some aspects that you mentioned, management has been entirely replaced by the owners, and we're now under new command. We hope you and other not-so-pleased guests give this house a chance,...

Rooms clean, new and nice. The location is very close to the center and the breakfast in the terrace is fantastic with all kind of food (sweet or not). Bathroom is also clean and close to the rooms. The guy at reception can give you all the info needed to visit the city and suggest tour. What's you need more?

We have stayed for 3 nights and had a very pleasant stay. Starting with the owner who is not new to this business and honestly enjoys giving a personal advice about must-see's and do's. The atmosphere was very trendy and relaxed, they looked after us very well! E.g. when we asked for extra blanket, in no time it was awaiting...

This is such a beautiful hostel - it's in an enormous renovated mansion in the town centre. All rooms have wonderful high ceilings. I stayed in a four bed dorm which had the most generous amount of floor space I have ever seen in a hostel. Huge lockers too. I loved how every part of the hostel has been decorated...

If you like beautiful high ceilings, historic buildings, fantastic roof garden and interior design then this place is for you. Luis, the owner is great company and full of suggestions on what to do whilst in Faro and the surrounding areas. This place does not feel like a hostel more of a designer mini hotel.

I stayed at the hostel last summer. It had been open a month or so. The place is one of the best and most pleasant hostels that I’ve stayed at. The staff go out of their way to make you feel happy and comfortable. It’s a lovely flower bud which will blossom over time!

I stayed at this hostel with a couple of friends recently. The hostel is new (opened, or at least substantially refurbished, in 2013 I think). The rooms are clean and spacious enough. The common areas are cool with some interesting furniture and objets d'art about the place. The hostel gives guests a wrist band each with sensors to open doors,...

“My room was at the end of the hall on the bottom floor, by the laundry, and I couldn't hear a thing. Even with the windows open it was a fairly quiet street so it didn't interfere with my sleep.”
