I paid 70 euros for two nights in January and it was well worth the money. The room was a good size and very clean, the temperature control was ideal, as it was a bit chilly, but I got the room heated up quick. The location is perfect and breakfast was decent. Free wifi and decent TV channel selection in...

A much delayed flight culminating in a 14 hour journey is not my idea of the best start to a February Winter Break. Arriving with my wife at the hotel on a Thursday shortly before midnight we found the nearby restaurants/takeaways closed. The welcoming lady on reception duty immediately came to our rescue offering to make us a pot of...

The hotel is in a great position close to the old town and modern centre. Good restaurants are only 5 minutes walk away, and the hotel has its own snack and drinks bar. The staff were all unfailingly helpful and friendly. Our room faced the street and had a nice balcony with views (we were on the top floor). The...

The staff were very friendly and helpful. The room was small but adequate and cleaned every day. It had plenty of storage and included a safe. Free wifi with good reception. Great location just 5 mins from centre. Breakfast was basic but good quality

Stayed here overnight for an early airport drop off which cost 12 euros and took around 10 minutes. The hotel is a few minutes walk from the bus and train station and has a great history which is explained in the information booklet. Many Roman artifacts can be viewed in the hotel and were found when hotel renovations took place....

Three nights spent at this hotel. All staff very friendly and welcoming. Great location. Lift to all floors. We had a room with balcony on the 3rd floor overlooking the inner courtyard. Large bathroom (with bath) and an average size bedroom. Ok the bedroom was not huge, but we were paying 2 star rates not 5 star. We only had...

The hotel was small, and the rooms were small. The rooms were clean, and the staff was friendly. It came with breakfast which was pretty standard, but good. There is also a small cafe right at the hotel. And the rooms have a small balcony.

Though my room was supposed to be a double room, it was still very small, so small that I could not even open my suitcase. I wonder how could it fit 2 person in it. The plus was that it had a balcony overlooking the street. However, it got quite noisy when cars and drunk people passed by. Breakfast was...

Our double room was tiny and barely acceptable, the worst in a tour of nine Algarvian hotels. The morning we left, we could see that, despite the hotel being fairly recently built, the rooms do vary in size. If we'd had 60cm rather than 30 around the bed, we'd have been a lot happier. Our room faced the street but...

Pros: good location ....short walk to town. Sufficient, basic breakfast. Cons: bed very uncomfortable and I woke up backache and with bug bites, shower is tiny and has no temperature control valve so I was scalded and frozen during my shower. Have stayed in a variety of hotels and Airbnb over three weeks in Portugal. This place was disappointing value...
