Guest House Sao Filipe is a two minute walk from either the Faro train station or bus station, both of which can easily be accessed from the airport by bus. The hotel is also a short walk from the old city center. The entrance to the hotel Is admittedly a bit of a put off. The area is a bit...

Guest House Sao Filipe was comfortable and very clean although the room was quite small, but had a decent sized bathroom with a bath. The location was ideal. We had breakfast at a small coffe shop across the road (very reasonably priced). The railway station, bus station, old town, shops and Marina were all a short walk away,no more than 5 minutes away. The airport...

Cute little guest house, very accommodating, their site photography is a little misleading but it was still a pleasant place to stay. Not very expensive and well located, close to the port. They also like to leave well-intentioned notes in the bathroom regarding the use of their towels, requesting that one doesn't remove their makeup with the towel, or clean...

A clean, well run hostel, with management communicating clearly in my native tongue. A very short walk from the train station and bus terminal, with the old and new quarters approx. 10 minutes walk away. The reception is maintained 24/7, as are the hours of entering and leaving. They did not charge for laundering and ironing my sweatshirt!

1. I had requested a quiet rear room - what I got what the only room (out of ten), which was to the front, although the guest house was not fully booked. Couldn't sleep at all since all night traffic in front of the window. 2. In the description they promised tea or coffee making facility in the room -...

This accommodation is absolutely basic. It's ideal for a Base and even better if there are 2/3 people. I was on my own, so I feel it was a little expensive. That said, it was great for getting to the train station

The location is near railway station & bus terminal, & one can easily find it. The room is not large but comfortable, some tips in the bathroom let guest feel warm. All sites of Faro city are on foot scope. The reception on duty for 24 hours, also they can provide simpe city map. There are several small restaurants around...

The room was merticulously clean and comfortable, if somewhat small. I would highly recommend this to any couple. There was a member of staff on the reception to let you in if you are out late. Lovely designs in the property which brightens the whole place!!

For the price you pay, I found this quite a decent hotel. For us, it was conveniently located (close to Faro's train station), but the neighbourhood isn't the nicest of all. The city centre is just a few minutes on foot though. The guest house is a little bit noisy (thin walls and thin doors, so you can hear literally...
