Myself and my partner booker to stay for 1 weeks on 20.6.22. We were assigned room number 2. The view of the pool was nice but the shower in the room was constantly blocked I reported it on two occasions and nothing was done and from looking at previous reviews there has been an issue with plumbing before, a constant smell of the toilet pipes coming through the room this was very disappointing. Breakfast was cold and repetitive. Bed sheets needed changing. Also at some point in the week the staff of the hotel or bar staff thought it would be ok to up the prices of the drinks. Beer went from 3 euro to 3.50 and the coke went from 2.50 to 4.00. I have never heard of soft drink being more then alcohol so not sure where the extra money was going very dodgy. Very outdated hotel needs some work done. I wouldn't recommend anyone staying there unfortunately.…
My husband and I stayed here for 5 days for our wedding anniversary. We arrived at 10pm, we were checked in very quickly with a friendly face. Our accommodation (room only) was a good size, had a kettle, fridge, cups and saucers and glasses. The sun terrace was great, x2 sun loungers and table and chairs, half covered with shade. The room was very clean and tidy only fault I would say is they are not sound proof at all. The swimming pools were well kept, sadly the snack bar by the small pool was never open and the sports bar was hit and miss with its opening hours. The sports bar had a large variety of drinks, large beer for €3, they did pizzas for €12. We had breakfast once during our stay in the main restaurant, €9 for all you can eat buffet, lots of choice, cooked breakfast, cereals, pastries yoghurt, fruit, tea, coffee, juices, it was all very nice. The location of the hotel has several restaurants within a walking distance. There is a spar and a pharmacy with a cash machine opposite the hotel. Old Town is about 8 minutes in an uber which cost €6~€8 if not about an hour walk but to walk it was quite hilly. Tuk tuks were very convenient and there was always one available, they were €10. There is a beach about 5-7 minutes walk away, it is only a small beach with a restaurant set back. The walk back to the hotel is rather steep. All in all the hotel was quiet, clean and the staff were all very friendly, the reception staff were very helpful too and we would stay there again.…
The room is large, we had two single beds, mini fridge, wardrobe, balcony with seats, wonderful large bathroom (quiet too). The breakfast had loads of options that were perfect for a picky eater, this included warm and fresh food. The pool was lovely and large although deep so if you cannot swim or a small child do be careful. The sun loungers where comfy with some in the sun and some in the shade all day so options for everyone. Staff where wonderful and accommodating, and there through out the night and day. The beach was about 5 minutes walk away, a spa literally on the main road which was perfect to buy water and ice cream :). The strip was about 30 minute walk and then to the old town was a 30 minute uber ride. I would defiantly go back to this hotel and recommend to people that want to relax as well as go out in the evening.…
Perfect location close to restaurants and a 2 minute walk from the beach, it takes around 15 minutes to get to the medina for boat tours and a more lively atmosphere - we took an Uber which cost €8. The hotel itself was clean, spacious and had everything we needed.
Being weary due to covid .I'm really happy we came .Staying for 5 nights, we are in a economy room which is fantastic value , fabulous hotel with calm relaxed atmosphere, staff especially in bar / restaurant are especially helpful. Everything is very clean , cleaned regularly and nothing is too much trouble. The maids come in daily too. Breakfast is good with cooked options also available within our stay cost .Eating and drinks is very good value, plenty of loungers available by the pool too. Nice size kids pool .And another available too.Gorgeous beach is less than 10 minutes walk . We have been exploring both sides and taxis are good value .Definitely recommend. Thanks everyone for a great stay .
The hotel is lovely and clean. Rooms are large and cleaned daily. Reception staff are very pleasant and very helpful if you need any help. The pools are clean and well looked after. Theres a small supermarket opposite the hotel which is very useful. The only downside is that the hotel is a bit out of the way. 20 minute walk to the strip or a taxi to the old town but overall we really enjoyed our stay at the hotel.
Fabulous.😁 clean, friendly & excellent measures in place for covid 19 not just at the hotel but around the area & at Faro airport. On the covid issue I actually felt safer there than at home or in work in Wales. The food was a touch repetative & not hot but warm or cold but considering the covid measures this is mostly likely why & I didnt starve. The restaruant manager was amazing from what we saw he was there from 8am until 11pm with a smile everytime he was essentially on his own & at times rushed off his feet but had an excellent attitude so big shout out to the man 😁. I look forward to going back in less restrictive times.
The best place I have lived in Portugal. I have my apartment in Block C opposite the Villas. Love love love it. The hotel has everything you need. The reception staff are always helpful and the bar is well stocked. Breakfast is a must..... plenty to eat at the buffet. Uber from here to the strip is about 5 euros or walk about 20 mins. Very quiet in the winter but summer busy.
Excellent holiday, relaxing and peaceful lovely friendly staff especially Paulo nothing was too much for him. Apartment clean and food and drink very good, location good, beach amazing would recommend for relaxing break
Lovely hotel. Not the best location but can easily get taxis into town. Rooms were basic but cleaned every day. Pool areas were clean and tidy. Only down fall is the poor attitude of the bar staff. I found them to be very rude throughout my stay.
