Clube Albufeira Garden Village - Apartamentos Turisticos offers a range of amenities, including heated pools and in-room comforts, which some travelers value despite noting room for enhancement. The resort's cleanliness generally earns approval, yet issues like ant infestations and sparse linen changes have been called out. Although the rooms are considered spacious by some, guests have consistently highlighted the need for modernization, pointing out dated decor and cleanliness concerns. Opinions on service and the overall atmosphere diverge, with praise for helpful staff contrasting sharply with reports of rude treatment and a lackluster ambiance that many believe requires attention.

Clean apartments, food was excellent and the staff were very friendly. Good spot for a family holiday. Always plenty of room at the swimming pool for sunbeds. Five minutes in an uber from the old town that cost on average 4-5 euro per trip. The lighting over the room numbers could be better as we arrived at night time and found it difficult to find our room but that was the only thing I could find fault in.

The apartment was at the back of the park on top of the mountain. Car you are really obliged to have.
The floor was very dirty upon entering our apartment.
The cleaner has been 1x and I saw it in the beds, which were tightly made, but otherwise I could not see that they had been. Not polished and no clean towels, I washed them myself. On Friday they brought a pile of clean towels, and by then we had been there for over a week. That we washed the towels ourselves was not the intention he said. I indicated that we had not been given clean towels all this time. He just shrugged his shoulders.
On Sunday the cleaning lady came to ask if she could come and clean, by then we had been there for 11 days. I said no you don't have to because tomorrow morning at 10 we have to be out anyway come clean.
You had to be out by 10:00 on the day of check-out and why can't the next vacationer be in until AFTER 17:00?!

In summary;
-Nice park
-apartment ( nr 389) with all the trimmings (air conditioning, washing machine, dryer , ironing board, iron, coffee maker, kettle toaster, dishwasher, fridge, freezer 4 drawers,
In the kitchen was also everything present regarding crockery and cutlery dishes pans vases jugs
Large roof terrace:
Garden table with 8 chairs
Garden table with 4 chairs
3 sun beds

Lovely complex set over a large hilly expanse 30 min walk north of the town. Apart-hotel extremely well equipped. Oven/microwave/toaster/kettle/coffee machine/juicer/ dushwasher/cutlery/tupperware/ pans/fridge/ac everything inc washing up liquid, dishwasher tabs, wiping up cloths & dish cloths THE LOT! Pools are lovely but a bit cool 🥶 restaurants /cafes/ bars great. Small shop opposite entrance, over dual carriageway at camp site. Very well supplied supermarket on same side about 10 mins south via safe walkway parallel to dual carriageway. Bus leaves every 30 mins outside campsite into town. €1.90. Getting back was a bit trickier so we got cab €5. Albufiera not steeped in history/culture. 50 year old tourist resort full of bars and shops selling the usual seaside stuff. 😕 Weather at end if Sept was sunny 😎 27’ every day with a light breeze & no mozzies!!! Hotel would do everyone a favour if they had golf buggies to use. Recommend a trip to see caves & dolphins & trip around the resort in a tuk tuk or jeep to get your bearings on day 1. Spent no time on beautiful beaches as its not my thing - prefer poolside but beaches look wonderful.

Booked this trip as a family holiday for a special occasion there were 16 of us in total. First impressions on arrival were good reception was clean and the staff member I dealt with was pleasant and helpful. We were given a mal to help us locate our accommodation which was a bit of a challenge, there should be sign posts to make it easier to locate your accommodation. Two families within our group needed to have their apartments changed due to location lots of hills and steps with no courtesy bus to help with luggage etc to be fair reception changed their apartments. I booked a 2 bedroom apartment for a family of four location was ground level which was great however that's all that was good about it. The apartment was badly in need of redecorating and needed a good cleaning. The kitchen chairs and living room seating area were filthy, curtains hanging of the rails, mould in bathrooms, broken toilet seat and the kitchen was overrun with ants on the counters and sink. No aircon I asked to be upgraded to an apartment with aircon and was advised it would be an extra €2032 for the 10 nights on top of what I had already paid which was outrageous! I did make a complaint while there and the apartment was cleaned and chair covers removed however it didn't make much of a difference. Bedding was old brown blankets which I wouldn't touch don't mind use. Overall I was bitterly disappointed and felt uncomfortable staying in this apartment but made the most of it

The checking in information was very lacking in providing complete details of the location for the apartment as only the number was provided while the signage displayed letters.

The apartment was nicely laid out and very comfortable.

The weather was cool and rainy and we had a leak from all the rain The leak showed up and mould became evident. We had to move units and no assistance was offered with our having to relocate.

The apartment that we moved into had a missing clothes dryer and we were promised that it would be installed but after several checks with the resort we still had not received it when we checked out.

There was a high fee charged by the resort and Rci charged an exchange fee so all in all it was quite expensive.

If you're like me, you'll appreciate an honest review, apologies in advance for the length!

We first visited Clube Albufeira in April 2024 as a family of 4, firstly the check in time of 17:00 is not ideal when travelling with young children but alas, it is what it is! We arrived early and was told our room was not ready and to go to the pool etc. and they would call when it was, a little while later (around 5pm) we were called and went to collect our key, upon trying to locate our room on the gigantic resort, we found we were up in the hills, quite a walk from the pool with LOTS of steps (again not ideal with a 3 year old) to add insult to injury the other families we traveled with were upgraded, for no particular reason, lovely for them but whilst we were up in the hills they were pool side! The rest of our stay was OK, rooms very dated and not the cleanest but fine, and the Wi-FI does not work in the rooms, AT ALL! all amenities are provided but don't except clean sheets often (maybe 1x a week). During our stay, my son fell and quite badly cut his head, relieved to see a first aid kit in the room, we opened the box to find....nothing! Being that this was quite late into the evening, we managed to get some plasters and then a trip to the medical center the next day was in order! We found the staff to be rude and unhelpful and frankly couldn't have cared less, anyhow upon checking out we were assured that IF we decided to return we would be "looked after" so very last minute we thought we'd give them another go, booked a 3 bedroom superior room for Aug 2024 and emailed resort and asked if possible, could we please be near a pool and not up in the hills etc.

Upon arrival, we were given our key and off we went...only to find they had given us a room in the same block as in April....up in the hills!! :| we returned to reception to more rude staff to be told "we're very busy, if we can change you're room, we will call you" (they didn't call us) we made the best of the week, the main pool area doesn't allow ANY inflatables and staff will remind you of this should you child take one in, in busy season you cannot reserve sun loungers and if you leave your lounger for longer than hour, the staff will remove your towels so be careful if going for lunch etc. If you're looking for a no thrills, basic place to stay where really you need a car to get anywhere because the mini market is extortionately overpriced then this is the place for you, our three boys enjoyed the pool and sunshine but were at times, a little bored! We won't be returning again, there are so many beautiful places to stay in Albuferia where the staff are helpful and pleasant, this is not one of them!!

We had an enjoyable time at this property. Our room was a bit far away from the check in building, but we had a vehicle, so it did not matter to us. There was parking immediately in front of our suite, which was very convenient. We did not use the amenities, such as the pool or mini golf as we had a change of itinerary from when I first had booked a longer stay via exchange almost a year ago. I let them know of the earlier departure at check in and they pro-rated the additional fees for just the nights that we were going to be staying. (I did not ask or look into modifying the stay on RCI site as the change was in our plans, so it was nothing to do with them.)

Our room had items such as a corkscrew in it, but we had also packed one as perhaps not all do. We had already stopped for grocery items shortly after arriving in LIS as we also had to pick up a few immediate clothing and personal items with the luggage delay so we cannot comment on shopping in the immediate area. The stove was a little odd to get started, but just as I got in touch with someone at the front desk, we figured it out.

We already read to bring our own cleaning items such as for washing dishes (and would have had dishwasher tablets if our luggage had arrived with us). There is a laundry service on site, that is 'pay per pound' with a flat rate minimum for wash/dry or wash only. Since we had limited clothing with the delayed luggage, they were very accommodating in getting the batch washed and returned to us within a short time. If we had more time, apparently there are self-service places nearby.

Would stay here again.

Property is in a great location. 5 minutes drive to beautiful beaches and restaurants on site are very good. Units need a lot of attention. Our 2 bedroom was old, ant infested with kitchen chairs that were falling apart and a washer that leaked so much we could not use it and a dryer that was inconsistently hot. They charge for everything. Charge for rental of room safe, charge for electricty for week (120Euros) and they have no pool towels unless you rent them for 2 Euros a day each. All of this needs to be better explained on the listing site

Villa oleander … just perfect. Arrived with daughter and her baby and staff were wonderful. Stored our cases and pointed us to restaurant where we had a lovely bite to eat. In under an hour they called us to say villa was ready ( hours before normal check in time. They drove us up to villa with all luggage and handed us the keys and wow villa oleander was home from home ! Huge beautiful great great air con in every room Lots of fresh bedding and towels. Maids wonderful although we didn’t need them. Pool service guys also wonderful keeping pool and hot tub water safe Very very polite staff !!! Netflix and prime on tv … loads of English films and kids movies … Just perfect. Pool was amazing as was hot tub. You can switch pool lights on at a night which makes a fantastic swim in dark. Beds super comfortable!!! Best nights sleep for years !! Ubers will come to your gate and take you anywhere very cheap and all drivers were fantastic. We literally went everywhere did big supermarket shops etc all via very cheap Ubers. We even had Chinese and Indians delivered on an evening. Beautiful location… lovely and quiet and so peaceful. Some gorgeous villas near buy and some going to be built. Fantastic to see. Such beautiful homes !!! Villa has everything you could want for a family ! And it doesn’t matter that is on a slight hill as an Uber will literally take you anywhere and so cheap and so quick ( not like U.K. ). They will even deliver your shopping. Had a fantastic holiday with baby who loved having his very own pool .. absolutely gorgeous Villa gorgeous staff and 100% we will be back. Thankyou !

The Resort really needs an update and a THOROUGH polish would not be a superfluous luxury, we first polished our app ourselves the handles on the cupboard the dishwasher were so rancid, also the seat in the living area we left for what it looked so dirty that we did not even want to touch it, everywhere we found long black hair also the frames on the wall were covered with mold stains, the accompanying terrace was so dirty that we even left the curtains closed, no here we never come back what I also did not understand is that you are not allowed to go up until 17:00 ke room is your day not actually over? While you have to be off by 10am
You also only get 1 x DIRTY towels per stay of a week, I recommend everyone to definitely not book here
On photo it looks reasonable but in reality really decayed dirty lot
Reception was also very unfriendly and are not open to any question or request
In the closet was a pile of dirty smelly sleazy blankets that you smelled all over the room and after a few days also started hanging in your clothes

If you have mobility problems this complex will be a challenge. Steep paths, and the paths are often stepping stones. I wouldn’t recommend it.

I think one had more modern decor than the other from what I could tell when we booked. If you go on the hotels actual website you can see all the different types of rooms they have and photos of them all.
