Great family hotel! We got a great welcome, and throughout our entire stay the staff was lovely and caring. Food was very nice with plenty of variety for both breakfast, Lunch and Dinner. Rooms were spacious, clean and comfortable. Only positive memories…
Our family of eight (four adults, four kids) stayed for a week all inclusive in two two bedroom apartment and had a great holiday. Here's why: - The apartments are massive. We had a huge terrace but never used it. - The swimming pools are great for families. - The variety of food for all inclusive was fantastic. Just wish they'd had sushi more than one day the week we were there! - Kids club, reception and restaurant staff were all extremely polite and helpful. One thing that would've made it even better for us would be changing the way they do kids club activities in the evening. Having kids activities at 8.30/9pm is a great idea so adults can relax with a drink after dinner. But because the kids club is on the opposite side of the hotel to the main bar and restaurant it doesn't really work. I think if they put on an activity on the grass outside the main bar and restaurant instead you would get a lot better turnout, and it would be greatly appreciated by parents. They could do it for half an hour or so before the main evening entertainment. The only other improvement I'd suggest is keeping the door which leads to the north pool unlocked during meal times as it means for a big part of the day you have to go up and down stairs and along corridors to get there.…
I booked this hotel for my family of 4. We had a well equipped and spotless two bedroom apartment. Staff were so helpful and welcoming. I loved the location away from all the noise but close to some restaurants and beach. No issues getting loungers by the pool and didn’t feel overcrowded. Excellent choice. Only have two suggestions; 1. Provide some basic items in the kitchen to get started ie tea/coffee etc. 2. Try and improve the water temperature in the taps as it can be extremely hot. I did burn my arm whilst showering by accidentally touching the chrome part of the shower.
We had a great stay as a family of 5 at this resort. We had a deluxe pool view suite. Large room with huge balcony with a cabana and chairs on it -- we have teenagers but for those with young kids this would be a nightmare as the balconies are low and the drop very big-- which we loved. The hotel has been upgraded but for some bizarre reason this does not include the en suite kitchens which look like they are from the 1970s still. We were all inc so this did not matter to us but worth knowing. Spoke to some folks who said noise by the south pool view rooms was a problem late at night due to the bar being there but we were fine at the north of the resort. Nice pools, drinks not bad -- much better made at the south pool bar, food excellent and freshly made though a bit same-y--eg they need to get smoked salmon at the breakfast buffet and not just 5 types of ham, staff fairly friendly and always helpful, beach shuttle useful but a bit chaotic/free for all, local beach great, lots of local/walkable shops and restaurants, great value overall. Would absolutely return. If they upgrade the en suite kitchens and some of the public areas eg the walk from the restaurant to the North Pool, this is a nailed on 5 star resort but a very solid 4 star as it is.…
We had a wonderful week long holiday at the Patio Suite Hotel. We were a family of six with two apartments on the first floor. They were very spacious, comfortable and clean. The hotel has recently changed hands and been refurbished to a very high standard. We chose the all inclusive option to give me a break from cooking for the family and the quality of food was superb. We welcomed each day at the restaurant by Sao and Francesco. There was little time when food wasn’t available and there was great choice for everyone. Especially the daily salad selection and freshly cooked pizza by the lovely chef Everton. There were two good size swimming pools with plenty of sun loungers available that we all enjoyed. The entertainment team of Dani, Patrizia and Joao were great fun and put on some varied activities that suited all ages, including aqua dance and aqua challenge. The live music in the evenings by the pool were an added bonus. Roberta on reception was really knowledgeable and helped us with any queries we had. We used the free shuttle to the nearby beach a few times where you could hire sun beds but the other beach was only 15 minutes walk away. Overall, we couldn’t fault the Patio Suite hotel and can’t wait to come back.…
Was there for ten nights from the begining of July to celebrate our Golden Anniversary Lovely hotel and very polite and friendly staff. As soon as the assistant manager found out about our anniversary , a bottle of champagne was brought over to us by a waiter, such a nice gesture from a lovely lady. Hotel and room was spotless, could not complain about a thing. Breakfast was great and the pancake machine was a big favourite. A bit out of the way from the main drag but a lovely location and would recommend to anyone, Will be back!
We stayed as a family of four in an apartment room only for one night, on our way to another hotel. We absolutely loved our short stay. The service was perfect, the staff incredibly friendly and happy to help and the hotel was beautiful. Breakfast was wonderful with an amazing selection and we ate in the cafe by the pool too - food was good. The hotel also has two lovely lounges for guests to relax, my son enjoyed meeting some other children and watching football (it was not intrusive if you don't like to watch - the lounges have been designed well and there are separate areas to relax). There was a pool table & two swimming pools. We only swam in one of the pools late in the afternoon so can't comment on how busy they became during the day. There was a shuttle service to the beach and you can order a picnic to take - so many small touches that show the hotel really care about the guest experience. The room was fantastic - good beds, comfy sofa & lounge area with a great TV, very clean and a lovely balcony plus a bottle of water for when we arrived. I would 100% recommend this hotel for a family holiday. A great hotel & we hope to return!…
We have just returned from a weeks holiday at The Patio Suite Hotel. A fantastic Hotel, excellent service and food. The staff were exceptional, who couldn't help you enough and made our stay. We stayed in a two bedroomed apartment, which was very spacious and accommodated us very nicely as a family of five (including two big teenagers). The two pools were great and there was always sunbeds available through out the day. The Hotel is situated in a quieter area of Albufeira, which suited us. The fabulous beach was not far away and a shuttle bus ran from the hotel through the day. If you are looking for a smaller hotel with a relaxing vibe this hotel is just the ticket. Thank you Patio Hotel for looking after us so well.
We had a wonderful 1 week stay- 3 adults & 2 children during half term. The main positives were: very friendly staff who were so attentive. I would like to say a big thank you to the ladies at the kids club, my daughters had do much fun. The room size- really spacious 2 bed apartment. Food- really good choice especially for the all inclusive and great range of branded all inclusive drinks. Hotel decor was contemporary but cosy. Chill evenings with live music. Pack lunches for day out or trip to the beach- great idea. We never had any issues getting a subbed or parasol. Proximity to glorious beach, with regular shuttle bus. We all had a fantastic time and will definitely return. We would choose to rent a car next time as local area is in the quiet side, but that’s just personal preference.…
Staff are very friendly l, the food is great lots of options and kid friendly section. The rooms are lovely, very spacious highly recommended the rooms with a private terrace instead of balcony. Both the pools are great, the round one is deeper. The bars within the hotel are great aswel and the hotel is only a short walk to the closest beach. The hotel also offers free shuttles to take into vilamoura and it’s very easy to get a taxi to other places. All together the stay was great especially with half board. Would go again.
