I have just returned from two weeks at the hotel with my family. The hotel is spotless, the staff are lovely and very helpful, service is fantastic, breakfast was very very good, and the location to Villamoura & Albufeira is only 10 minutes in a taxi. The downsides - if you are travelling with children and you don't want to put them in the children's club, then there is nothing for them to do other than swim. The food in the buffet for kids is terrible, a choice of two things, every night. The food for the adults is hit and miss for a 5 star, I would expect more choice, however, you do get a voucher for £20 each to spend at the italian, or japanese restaurant. The cocktails, 12 euros each, for a cosmopolitan which is literally one mouthful! There needs to be a games room installed for sure. The cleaners woke us every morning at around 8am, however not the noisiest ones we've encountered. The biggest problem for me is that there is no private beach with this hotel, you have to pay for a bed everyday and they are impossible to get at the weekend. The beach is full of locals... this would stop me going back to this hotel unfortunately.…
We stayed at epic sana Algarve for a week What a wonderful place From setting to staff to restaurants etc Nothing was a trouble to staff They were all totally outstanding Lovely swimming pools Lovely beach nearby Food fantastic Staff totally fantastic Breakfast to die for ! The puddings at dinner oh my fabulous Any issues were dealt with so promptly We shall definately return Thank you
I had a friend stay here recently and she recommended we stay here that it was fab! she was right! the property is amazing the hiking right on property above Praia de Falesia was gorgeous! the beach is beautiful those red cliffs will be in my mind for a long time. We had an oceanview room- very pretty view and nice terrace to relax. Large bedroom and bathroom and very modern. The restaurants were all top notch! we ate at Bluum ( the bar restaurant) and the head chef was actually in that day and prepared our food- it was amazing! Wish we had time to go to the Michelin star restaurant as i'm sure it is great. Breakfast was large and had anything you could want. Service everywhere was great. Pools were very good, my only compliant would be the adult pool is small and not heated and the kids pool (which is heated) is very close and noisy! too bad they didn't separate them a little more. Overall an amazing relaxing stay!…
I would highly recommend staying at Epic Sana to anyone. The staff are really friendly and dependable, and will do their utmost to make you feel welcome during your stay. The breakfast was a highlight- especially the fresh fruit and pastries. I would also suggest going to Bluum bar for drinks, Open Deck for lunch and Lima for dinner as these are all reasonably priced, with tasty food and good value. There is easy access to the beach and you can walk to Vilamoura in 45 mins and take a 20 min taxi to Albufeira. We were staying as a couple, there also were quite a few families with young children there at the resort - I think the hotel lends itself nicely to either couples or families. We have had a truly great holiday and would stay at Epic Sana again, it definitely gives you the 5 star experience it promises.…
We have been to the hotel on a number of occasions, the last time being 2019. We recognised so many staff from our previous stays. One thing that really stands out are the staff, they are so friendly and helpful, no matter if they are in any of the restaurants, front desk, around the pool, cleaning the rooms and of course the wonderful Anastacia on the Guest Relations desk they are all so good and make you realise you are staying in a special place. Give the Japanese and Italian a try out, you get 20 euros supplement. The main pools can be very busy, if you want somewhere a little quieter go to the pool by the Lima restaurant. I think the hotel are having issues recruiting but that is a common problem no matter where you come from.
Our 1st trip tp Porto. Arrived early and room wasn't ready. the staff did their best to get me into a room as quick as possible. Also front desk gave us great restaurants to try... Great spot - access to everything - yet a quiet spot... would return.
Hotel was lovely staff friendly from booking in to cleaning staff and bar and restaurant very clean food lovely good choice rooms great very big shower excellent had a great sea view from are room right opposite the beach with restraints and bars in close proximity
We just enjoyed a 10 night stay here. Everything about this hotel is fantastic. The rooms are spacious and very modern. The rooms are cleaned thoroughly every day and all of the amenities are spotless. The staff are exceptionally friendly and polite here with nothing too much bother for them, they also speak very good English. The food at the hotel is fantastic. The breakfast has a great selction and the service is exceptional. The other resteraunts the hotel has to offer are also lovely, although slightly more expensive they are absalutely worth it. Manolos and Antonio were exceptionally friendly who work in the restaurants. The little touches they provide in the hotel are also really good like providing waters of an evening etc. We will definitely be returning here!
This hotel was just awesome. Everything about it was just so good and lived up to the star rating. Rooms facilities food were just excellent and staff were friendly helpful and always went above and beyond for any requests you made of them. We are definitely going back.
Another visit to Epic Sana - we keep coming back for the great location, beautiful beach, fantastic staff and the comfortable clean rooms - breakfast excellent too. I’ve no doubt that we will return with friends!
