All good regarding the layout of the hotel, the breathtaking views, the cleanliness of the surrounding beaches and my flat style room. everybody so friendly , food is top notch good selection,international menues,chef Sandeep is a Pro,warm and interesting conversation, Management friendly and reachable the hotel manger Firoz, very pleasant and knowledgeable,reception ladies well groomed and prompt..., I came here for a bussiness stop but I am already thinking to come back as soon as I can for my own holidays with my spouse and kids. 5 stars¡¡¡!
I haven’t visited yet but I booked in January to stay in April, I should actually be there right now! But due to current restrictions in Ireland my trip couldn’t go ahead. The hotel has a no-cancellation policy but after contacting them, the hotel agreed to give me a credit note for the amount I paid and now I’ll be visiting in September. They have been very understanding and patient throughout the process. It’s greatly appreciated!
It saddens me to have to write this review about this hotel and the wider group and i have done everything to try and resolve this issue before posting this review. If you read any of my reviews, i am fair and balanced. I was due to stay here last year but the hotel was closed. I asked for a refund but they refused using covid as the reason. They were closed, i didn't change my plans. Then after months of emails and calls they agreed to refund my money within 90-days. 90 days came and went and i contacted the hotel again. I was then told i wasn't getting a refund as the company Muthu-Hotels had changed their policy. This policy was changed without informing me (even after i have an email confirming the refund would be with me within 60-90 days). i have again tried to deal with this in a very professional manner but the hotel has just decided to keep my money even though they were not open for business. I was told by a staff member to cancel the visa payment but visa said it was past 120 days allowed for this. I would not recommend this hotel or group to anyone. I have seen a number of online posts regarding the same issue. I continue my fight for my money back. Covid-19 is not a reason to drop your standards and treat customer like crap. By the way it's €96 they owe me. Shocking that they think they are so big then can just defraud me of my money. I hope people look at other hotels before booking this one. We stayed for 4 weeks last winter and thoroughly enjoyed our time at CPO. The location is superb and the staff is outstanding. It was our first time to Portugal and we were so impressed with CPO, the people of Portugal, the cuisine and the beauty of the country that we had planned to return for 10 weeks this winter. Alas, Covid-19 had other plans for the world. We hope 2022 will bring a return to normalcy and allow us to return to the place where so many fantastic memories were made!
I love this hotel! It was very quiet and isolated during the pandemic in November but the hotel has such a beautiful garden with beautiful lights, Christmas decorations,fountains,statues and beautiful rooms, it made me feel like I was in an Oasis. The Beach is also very close and beautiful. It is simply one of the most beautiful places I have ever vacationed at.
