Real Belavista. Stayed here in February 2020 with family and had an excellent time. The food was very nice, the staff friendly hardworking and helpful and the hotel very clean. This was our first ever visit to Portugal and we instantly fell in love, with Portugal. The medium size hotel is located near the centre of Albufeira and has excellent facilities, indoor and outdoor pool, several bars and comfortable seating areas. The restaurant is clean and spacious and the food is excellent, and of high quality. The food is very well presented and regularly replenished and kept fresh and whilst the variety of food is not huge, the quality is excellent and that is most important. There was always something tasty and enjoyable to eat at all times. There is also good entertainment at night time and a well stocked all- inclusive bar for those staying all inclusive. The hotel is not far from the excellent old town and in any case there is a free bus from the hotel to different parts of Albufeira and to the sister hotel along the coast. With a great thank you to the brilliant staff, We really had a great time at the Real Bellavista and definitely look forward to returning here soon. I can highly recommend this hotel and can’t wait to return :) …
Not for me. Paid additional fee for a kettle an better room, no milk for r coffee, an balcony not very pleasant. Due to closing a day before the finish of our stay we were told that we were being moved on the last day. During our stay that Thursday ,it was like an invasion of families an no room at the pools. Ask to be moved twice even for a fee, but reception not very helpful, so decided to move on an get a holtel ourselves. As I said not for me.
We booked this when the UK reopened the air bridge to Portugal, having originally booked for Tenerife and then Crete. This was definitely third time lucky. Having never been to Portugal previously, let alone the Algarve this was a bit of a try out for us, and wow are we pleased we tried. Having an early flight from Newcastle we arrived at the hotel at around 11:20, and not the best start being told we couldn’t access our room until 16:00, and couldn’t obtain our all inclusive band until 12:30. However we got our band just after midday and found a nice spot to sit, sampling a few cold ones before getting our room key. The room, which we were upgraded to was reasonably big, and exceptionally clean, a nice balcony overlooking one of the pools and a proper double bed (the mattress was so comfortable unlike some we’ve had previously) No mini fridge in the room which was a shame, but we later established we could’ve requested one. Food on the first night was average, and I feared the worst, however for the remaining 11 nights we could not complain and always found something we enjoyed. The lady who seated us most nights, Isa, was absolutely fantastic, always greeted with a smile and made us feel really welcome - thank you Isa. There is a front and back to the hotel, the back part being where the daytime bar was, and yes that’s where we spent most of our time. Plenty of sunloungers and likewise chairs and tables with parasols when it got a bit hot, which was the case everyday. Now for the dreaded ‘C’ word - Coronavirus. The hotel took every precaution, sanitising stations everywhere, masks to be worn when in the restaurant when moving about in it, and getting served at the bar. Also disposable gloves in the restaurant to obtain your food from the counters. Our room, which we requested to be cleaned (could opt out due to COVID) was cleaned immaculately every other day - we felt so very safe for our entire stay. Now to the title - the good lady’s 50th. On her birthday the hotel brought champagne to our room on the afternoon - a really nice touch I thought, and the good lady was suitably impressed. Downside. I’m guessing due to COVID the only bar operating on a nighttime was inside, and all of the entertainment was held there too. As the room filled up it got quite warm and felt a bit claustrophobic - but that was our only grumble. Summary: I always ask the question, would we return? 100% we would, a lovely hotel with fantastic staff, great location with only a 20 minute stroll to the old town. Well done Real Bellavista, cracking job. …
Comfortable and friendly. We went all inclusive and I made full use of the unlimited Super Bock beer! The food was quite edible but perhaps a bit unadventurous. Plenty of meat and chips. Usually some sort of pasta. If you are a fan of all inclusive holidays and rarely step outside the hotel then this is the place for you! If you like to go out, it is a bit of a walk (downhill) to bars and restaurants. Best to get a taxi to 'the strip' or old town. If you are reasonably fit, both are walkable. Great hotel but we might look for somewhere closer to the strip next time.
The hotel is too expensive for the services that are offered. Me and my fiance booked in a holiday at this hotel and paid almost £1000 for 7 nights with breakfast included. We've chosen this hotel based on the reviews of other people but clearly this wasn't a good choice. To start from the beginning, the hotel is 20-25 mins away from the beach and old town so if you're looking to be close to the beach I wouldn't recommend this hotel. The second thing is that we had to pay £25 deposit for the safe and another £25 the cost of it(in my opinion this should have been included in the whole price but they seem to wrip off people in any way they can). If you needed to use rhe iron, the first hour was free and then they charge £5/hour which I find ridiculous. The breakfast was good but they had the same food every day although based on other people's reviews, they should have had a variety of dishes but they didn't. In the advert they said that we'll have access to the inside pool and jacuzzi and gym and spa facilities but when we got there we were told that we cannot use the spa and jacuzzi as they are closed and we can only use the indoor pool and the gym but only by booking them. The water of the inside pool was cold although they said that it should be warm and the gym had old equipment that could barely be used. The outside pools are too small. As a conclusion, the hotel is too expensive and overrated and is not worth paying that much when there are a lot of hotels in that area from where you can chose. I wouldn't recommend this hotel for couples.…
