My husband and I have just returned from my sixtieth birthday holiday, this was our fourth time at the Falesia. First thing to mention as always is the WONDERFUL staff, they are by far the best you will come across and are the hotels biggest asset. We had a junior suite on the fourth floor, as always extremely comfortable very spacious and as all over the hotel spotless, maidsare great. We were told that when the hotel is closed over the winter is is getting refurbished in some areas, this is good as the dining room and bar entertainment areas are a little tired. Food as ever is varied, really dont think anybody would be stuck. I see some people complaining about the quiet! no idea why its just lovely to be able to read or snooze in peace. I was given a lovely bottle of fizz and a beautiful cake for my birthday so kind. The staff- I wish I could list all the names, from reception [ best weve ever come across] restaurant , bar are just a joy. Will look forward to going back to see what the refurb looks like. First time staying at this hotel, we did have a relaxing stay but found the hotel too quiet! No music round the pool, no atmosphere at all on an evening,. There was an act on each night but really boring no dancing etc. no day time entertainment either, the positives are that the hotel was very clean, staff friendly and very comfy beds. The food had a lot of choice however most of the dishes were lukewarm. The drink prices were quite expensive especially water and soft drinks also they charged for cups of ice and ice buckets!, 5 euros!, never had that before in a hotel. The hotel could do with some new sun beds very hard and most of them saggy in the middle also they didn’t lie flat or sit up if you wanted to read. I wish I had done a bit more research into location missed being able to have a walk out on an evening around a resort. There was only a couple of bars nearby and a handful of restaurants all with a busy road running through past them all.

This hotel is just perfect - the rooms are spacious and very comfortable. But what makes this hotel perfect is the people that work in it. Everyone is helpful, cheerful and they want you to enjoy your stay. Being an adult only hotel is perfect for those like us wanted a quiet peaceful relaxing time. The cocktail menu is amazing! I wouldn’t hesitate recommending this hotel to anyone and would love to go back!

Really good hotel, great service, lovely food on the breakfast and dinner buffet, really nice room and all staff very friendly, bar prices are good. Hotel also had a free shuttle to town centre and beach. Hotel manager was happy to negotiate a discounted price to keep room untill departure to the airport, if i come back to the same area again i would stay here.

As a newly engaged couple this hotel was a heavenly stay!! We stayed in the Junior Suite and it was just wow. The facilities were incredible, in the room it felt we were in an apartment, we had an amazing shower, a fridge! (One that was empty and could put your own items into) , kettle, wardrobe, hair dryer etc. The room was divided so that the bedroom was separate, meaning we had TWO balanconies and TWO tvs!! There were also bathrobes and slippers provided in the bedroom, also a working safe in wardrobe for belongings. The TVs allowed for screen sharing for Netflix also, so much comfort provided, the sofa was cosy, also footstools! The swimming pool outside and inside were FAB. Also an amazing jacuzzi. Where do I start with the food?? The buffet included for Breakfast- so so so many options!!! In a beautiful long restaurant downstairs in the hotel. Also an option in the evenings for dinner 22 euro per person for all you can eat, buffet also, so many options it was just wow, with an excellent array of drinks. On one of the evenings we went to the evening entertainment with really nice relaxing atmosphere and singalong songs, the cocktails were so good, and the service was super friendly and excellent. The cleaners were super nice and efficient and also there is a tennis court at the hotel, so much fun! We would recommend this hotel 100 percent!!!!! 💕💕💕💕

The hotel is clean and modern. Room’s are spacious enough and well equipped. The large pool was quite sparsely used during our stay, even though the pool area was busy. Perhaps this was due to it being adults only. Plenty of sun beds at any time of day. One very minor issue, some of the sun Ed’s were well used and uncomfortable. If you didn’t want to stay by the pool there are some lovely gardens where sun beds are also available to enjoy. From the moment we arrived the staff were ever present and super helpful in a laid back and friendly manner. Reception staff arranged taxis, provided information and guidance. Restaurant and bar staff were attentive and chatty. Food was varied, with fresh fish and Portuguese specialties. There were no repeated meals for the week we were there. There is a free shuttle bus to Falesia beach at 9:30, 12:30, 14:30 we decided to walk to Barranco beach about 20 minutes away (see photos below). Sun beds for €10 and a great beach bar. In the local vicinity (walking distance) there are a few bars and restaurants as well as a supermarket. This was our first trip to Portugal. I hope it hasn’t spoilt future trips, as the whole experience was superb.

Stayed here last week and would recommend to all - Great staff - Great rooms - Great food. Hotel is immaculately clean - everywhere - the staff are professional and courteous. Close to local amenaties and some nice restaurants and a walk to a super beach with a blinding beach cafe. We will definately return here.

Our first visit to the Algarve to celebrate our silver wedding anniversary. A lovely hotel and I thought I had done my research on where best to stay, but in hindsight we should have stayed more in Vilamoura as found it a little remote. On arrival at Faro, it was around a 40 minute taxi transfer and the area is quiet with a few bars and restaurants around 5 minutes walk away. Things appear limited and if you want a bit more of a vibe perhaps in the local area then maybe head more into Vilamoura which is a 20 minute taxi ride or you could walk it on/close to the best if you feel fit enough. Hotel. Very clean hotel, infact spotless. Friendly and attentive check in staff except for 1 who was quite short with me when my credit card would not work in their terminal. I was able to use another one however my original one works elsewhere. We had a b&b package in a junior suite which was lovely on the 2nd floor. Come to the room shortly. The hotel was a mixture of couples of all ages, some have come back year after year on a half board package. It used to be a TUI hotel apparently but no more. Trip advisor mentioned the hotel is around 800 meters from Falesia beach ( which is stunning ) and that may be so if a bird but it took us around 40 minutes walk to get there. We were directed to go back out to the main road then into the very posh Pines hotel complex. Walk all the way to the back then down a lift, then a further walk down a stepped walkway. Not for anyone with mobility issues but the hotel do provide a free shuttle service to another beach close by (not Sunday or Monday). The hotel also provides shuttles (again except Sunday or Monday) to Albufeira at €8 or Vilamoura at €12. Our room was lovely. Air conditioned and so clean. Daily housekeeping with a balcony, double bed, separate living area however the bathroom was unreal. Fantastic walk in shower with a huge shower head. Good water pressure. In room safe, tea/coffee with daily large water bottle. 2 tvs, fridge. Well superb. It was a bit of luxury for us being our silver anniversary. There is a good size outdoor pool and indoor one with jacuzzi/sauna also. There is daily evening entertainment which is just as well as the area outside looks tired and appears not to have recovered from the pandemic. If you want to just stay around the hotel or go to the beach then fine but I would say that the location is not good and staying where there is more going on could be more suitable. We tried to hotel evening buffet which was very good . Superb food. 22€ pp however as mentioned people tended to do the half board but may be a good option given that there isn't much here close by in terms of shops, bars, restaurants etc It is a nice hotel but you need a car or taxi to get to places.

An all round great experience. All the staff were really friendly and helpful. The rooms and pool area were clean and created a relaxing environment. We stayed bed and breakfast and had plenty of choice in the morning. The local restaurants are lovely for an evening meal aswell. The hotel offered free shuttles to the beach and paid shuttles to the near by towns albufiera and vilamoura. My only recommendation would be to offer these in the evenings at least once a week to allow people to try restaurants further afield with more nightlife.
