This was our third visit to this hotel and again we had a great stay. We had booked a top floor poolside room which was lovely and comfortable with free fridge and safe and the bathroom was fantastic with a large walk in shower. The food in the restaurant both at breakfast and evening meal was really good with plenty of choice. We ate a couple of times at the poolside snack bar and the food was really good. We went to Albufeira on the trip which is run by the hotel which was great value.

Being 'adults only' is a plus and this may account for the reason a lot of the guests are 60+ and returning regulars. The facilities (pools, gardens, bars) are all very well looked after as was our room (Rm 407) which might have been recently refurbished and had a magnificent walk in shower with 'monsoon' shower head and a balcony that overlooked the pool on one side and the gardens on the other but was itself not overlooked by anyone. The breakfast and evening buffets are very good with a great choice (always 2-3 fish dishes in the evening as well as meat dishes, eggs cooked to order at breakfast and oranges available for you to squeeze your own juice). As expected, wine with dinner and bar prices are higher than outside the hotel. Never got the hang of the pool bar 'happy hour' (5-6pm) as whenever asked for a drink was told 'that's not included in the Happy Hour'. (Maybe it's only the cocktail of the day?) As a Tui Gold hotel the Tui reps do dominate the scene and run endless 'entertainments' (aerobics, quizzes, darts) which are a bit irritating but can be easily avoided (retreat to the loungers in the garden area - this also helps escape the annoying muzzak played round the pool either by the Tui reps or, when they are quiet, the pool bar). The Tui provided evening entertainment is bit hit or miss but we certainly enjoyed about 3 of the acts we saw over the week. The regular free shuttle to the beach is very useful, though if fit enough it is possible to walk there (go via adjacent Pine Cliffs Resort and their lift to the beach.) If you're feeling reckless have a drink in the Pine Cliff's Mare restaurant on the sand but expect to pay around £20 for two drinks (less than half that elsewhere - they want to keep the riff raff out!). If you want to settle on the beach for the day, loungers are 15-17 euros for 2 with parasol - or sit on the sand for free. The hotel also offers regular trips for 10-15 euros to local sites. We went to Albufeira (the Portuguese version of Benidorm - enough said!) and also to Sivres which was worth a few hours exploration. Unfortunately there is no attractive town centre or marina to walk to, which is the only downside to this lovely hotel. If I could move it further round the coast near to a pleasant village it would be perfect!

so, the holiday market is hot, a poplar place, so i thought why not. Not a bad place, a little nervous at being somewhere new. A month here to relax and being on the top floor, Although I hate heights, enjoyed the view. On Thursday, everything changed as emergency services turneed up, damn in the middle of drama as there was a chlorine leak that sent people to the hosptial. Poor people,, felt bad for the baby though. 12 peoople affected, 5 tourists, after a mix up with Bleach and Hydrochloric acid in a nearby storage tank by the gym and spa. Veerry bad place to put it anyway, what a ''nice welcome'' from the lorry driver, hopefully they'll be ok

Dear Sirs, I would like to kindly ask you to remove the above review as it does not belong to our hotel. There are a few places in the area that are called "Falesia" (Beach, Mar, Gardens, Porto Bay Falesia etc....) but we are the only hotel that is called Falesia Hotel - Adults Only! The nearest beach is Falesia beach - hence the name is very often used. We have heard that there were some issues with the swimming pools in Olhos de Augua and our hotel in Acoteias was NOT efected! Please remove review. As Adults only hotel - we would not have a baby staying with us....we have not got a gym... Thank you for your assistance.

The hotel was in a lovely quiet location. Hotel was excellent. The room overlooking the pool was really good and a nice sunny position. The bed was very comfortable and large . The bathroom very clean and shower area amazing, and the shower head very large. All the staff at the hotel were very good and helpful. A nice refreshing drink on arrival and fruit on a stick. The Tui staff were all amazing nothing too much trouble. Would highly recommend the mystery trip with Victor. Such a charming man and so full of information and it was great to go into the true Algarve.

If there are any issues these are sorted quickly toilet seat a bit loose fixed in no time at all and one day a bath towel short delivered in minutes brilliant service,as always the staff are extra special the restaurant friendly and quick bar staff are excellent as well and will join in the fun if possible as always the garden area and grounds are kept to a very high standard. Jenny and Ryan are brilliant and done a excellent version of shallow the entertainment was first class in the evening with acts flown in .Keira Nat and our Harry worked so well together and do not harass you to join in during the day if you don't want to.only negative which is bath towels a bit small but got to take some responsibility due to eating to much wonderful food in restaurant. The sad thing for us is Harry is changing his occupation next year Harry you are one of the nicest people I have met and you are more like a family member to us will we miss you Yes are we upset we won't be seeing you again Yes but do we want you to be happy YES good luck love you.
