Excellent hotel. Choose for my wife's 50th Birthday. Super clean. Super friendly. The whole staff were amazing. Very helpful and welcoming Wouldn't hesitate to go back The food was what you would expect from all inclusive. But plenty of it The garden and grounds people keep this hotel in an outstanding condition
We took our 7 year old Grandaughter for her first proper holiday. We all had a great time. The swimming g pools are clean and well set out with plenty of sunbeds. The room was lovely and a bath with plenty of hot water was an added bonus. We were all inclusive so unlimited drinks, snacks, ice cream etc. The food was great with plenty of choice. Best part of the holiday was the amazing entertainment staff who were friendly and welcoming. Great fun had by all. Our Grandaughter had the time of her life and we were all sad to leave.
Exceeded my expectations completely, room was like new not outdated at all it had two balcony’s and was really clean and modern. The food was good a wide variety of choice for fussy eaters. The pool was lovely with an amazing view of the sea and beach, always a sun bed available. The walk down to the beach is amazing with a bench to sit on at the top of the hill overlooking the sea stunning scenery. There was a swing on the resort you could sit on while watching the sun set. Couldn’t recommend this hotel enough.
As per the title of this review, this hotel was great with great food and great staff. Their was only two BIG issues I felt was pretty bad. First - If you were disabled this hotel isn't for you. The amount of stairs is terrible and the restaurant was way down stairs and the bars. Second - We were all inclusive and in our party we had someone who struggles with stairs and they had one bar upstairs next to the reception and also the main bar was down a lot of stairs. HOWEVER for some stupid reason they prioritised the bar next to the reception for half board ONLY which was an extremely bad idea when there are elderly people at the hotel who need assistance to use stairs. Even with no assistance required it was a nonsense going all the 4 flights of stairs and back up for a drink. Stupid rule.…
The hotel is in dyer need of an update with decor and fitting at least 30 years old. Maze like with terrible signage and although most of the staff were pleasant, they were disorganised and struggled to cope with demand. Then there was those who were just plain ignorant and really didn’t care. 7 of us went all inclusive and we shouldn’t have bothered as we ate out as much as we could because the food was pretty awful. It was incredibly basic and the cheapest if the cheap. The 3.6m pool and the views were great as was the location. The strip and the Old Town are easily accessible on foot, taxi or complimentary shuttle bus. All in all, with the right owners and a little cash spent on it, it could be really nice. But suppose you get what you pay for!
We stayed here in April for a short break. The hotel reception was clean and tidy as was the bars and restaurants. The food in the restaurant was tasty with a good selection and easy to get seated. The pool area was big enough and had plenty of sun beds. The room was a little outdated but they were painting the exterior while we were there but the bed was comfy and the room was a good size with a balcony. The hotel is only a short walk from the strip with restaurants and shops. There is also a trail down to the beach.
It’s 3 star hotel so don’t expect a lot! Beautiful surroundings and views but our room was a disaster. Dark, old and cold at the very back of the hotel. Big tree - house of millions of mosquitoes just next to balcony. Hotel was full so we couldn’t upgrade the room and just tried to survive there. Food tasty and plenty of choices. If you want to stay there ask for new renovated room otherwise you will ruin your holidays.
Wasn’t too sure about going this time of the year as weather can be unpredictable but it was just about right, only a little rain and sun was quite hot, but you needed a jumper on an evening. Hotel was a bit dated but OK and right on the beach. Short walk to Strip, but nothing there for us. Lovely walk into old/main town which we did most nights across the beach, took about 30 mins. . Sea and pools were freezing but there was an inside heated pool. We were HB and food was ok and drink was served as you sat down, which was included, so we usually had a large jug of Sangria or wine. Holiday price was ok but is much more expensive in summer. Not sure we would go back to this hotel but may try other resorts in Portugal at some point. We had a lot of noise from other rooms at times, doors banging, furniture being moved around.…
Flew to Portugal 2 weeks ago and we loved every second. The beach was stunning, just a minutes walk from the hotel- only problem was how busy it was. Location is 10/10, 5 minutes walk from the new town and shuttles regularly to the old town. Rooms were clean and food was great- the kids certainly took advantage of the snack bars! A great stay and definitely considering going again.
We visited this hotel September 2021 for 2 weeks and must admit it rates as probably among the worst holiday we have ever had don’t get me wrong Lovely pool and that’s where the positives end when we went to the travel agent we specifically said we are not pool people and just wanted a a nice beach, being a Beach resort hotel we was hoping for a lovely beach the one we got was very far from itThe rooms are very dated we were moved twice first time was due to nothing like we were shown in the brochure second time was around 2.15 in the morning we had a thunder storm and it flooded the room phoned reception and was told they could do nothing until the morning had a visit soon after by a handy man who could not speak English who phone reception handed the phone to me and was told the same can’t do nothing until the morning our clothes and belongings got wet The food was very poor very low budget door not helped by the fact it was always cold so we used to go out for our evening meals…
