This hotel is in the perfect location in the heart of Albufeira, if you want to get some sleep pay the extra for a room over looking the pool. we were on the fourth floor enjoying the view of people in and out of the bars. we would sit on our balcony having a drink. everything is so handy. The staff at the hotel were very friendly and helpful. We were staying bed and breakfast and no complaints, the rooms were good and recently refurbished bathroom. My only complaint was the bar by the pool the one member of staff was very slow when you get a large group of lads and one orders 10 pints. I was getting served one day and then he starts to deal with another customer and I was waiting to order food as well. The pool area was ok but could do with some money spending the area surrounding the pool and the sun beds were not the most comfortable. all in all I would stay there again it was handy for the bus stop to catch the train to the old town. reception would book our taxis so we enjoyed our stay here all 7 of us in 3 rooms, my daughters loved the area because of the nightlife.

I’m a fussy customer but appreciate that you get what you pay for. So here for your 3 stars you get friendly helpful staff, clean rooms and pool areas, an huge selection of hot and cold buffet for dinner and breakfast. Poolside rooms for us were a necessity and we were moved on the second night from the strip with no problems. The ugly - well for us it was the strip at the front of the hotel, the poolside is a whole different world where the rooms are definitely good value for money with a distant sea view. X

where to start, 8 of us travelled here for a weekend away, safe to say we was greatly surprised with the hotel, after looking at the reviews previous we where all sceptical on what to expect. We arrived around 12:00 but check in opened at 14:00 - so we sat around the pool for a few hours drinking the nicest sangria! First bad point - there is limited staff on the bar, a lot of people where queuing up around the pool bar waiting to be served due to one member of staff being on shift. However the drinks were lovely and just what we needed in the hot sun. We then went to check in and got to the rooms. The rooms where all clean and had the necessities you would want when arriving to a hotel Second bad point - limited toilet roll which didn't really get filled up when the rooms where cleaned, Air conditioning in our room was near on none existent and wasn't very powerful and the décor is dated. Some of the other peoples beds where soft and some quite hard. I would recommend new beds throughout to make sure everyone has a comfortable stay. All the rooms we had was facing the strip and safe to say you was basically sat on the strip 24-7. After reading previous reviews they advised that the noise was too much and people couldnt sleep, this simply isnt the case unless you are an extrelemy light sleeper. We opened the balcony door in the evening to hear the noise then closed the door and could hardly hear any noise at all. The location is amazing to be based on the strip and have access to all the bars and restuarants including shops etc. We chilled around the pool most days and couldn't fault that either. We made breakfast every morning as it closes at 10am and the food was constantly topped up and warm and had plenty of choice. The kithcen make the most amazing toasties ever, would totally reccomened these for some lunch time snacks. I will definelty come and stay back at the hotel without a doubt, exceeded my expectations and should be a 3 star.

Stayed here for a few nights and have to say was not disappointed. The room was authentic Portuguese with the Terracotta tiling and Cream walls and retro telly (which I loved as i'm a big fan of TV shows like Ashes to Ashes, Only fools and horses re-runs and netflix and chill nights whilst watching back to back Bergeracs). Right up my street. We had a pool, golf course and tennis court view which now i've got back home has inspired me to don my sweatband Bjorn Borg stile pick up my bat and hit ball after ball, i've never felt so fit, so thank you for the inspiration. After waking up after a super night's sleep on what felt like sleeping on a cloud, we headed down for breakfast, the selection was plentiful with beans that were nicely stuck together (heinz are missing a trick here) sizzling bacon and nice thick sausages which looked liked little children's fingers (age 6 approx) Again this inspired me when i got home to watch Silence of the Lambs again, fabulous film. The nightlife was fantastic bar after bar after bar after bar after bar after bar after bar after bar after bar after bar after bar after bar after bar after bar after bar after bar (restaurant) after bar after bar after bar playing the classics like Come on Eileen and I will survive by Gloria Gaynor mixed in with the Village People you couldn't not enjoy yourself. but i have to say after dancing the night away my head was hurting so i thought i would find some medication Cont....

I travelled here on a Hen Party and was very skeptical after reading all the reviews however was very impressed! The location was fantastic, our rooms were strip facing and although you could hear the music slightly the doors kept out a huge amount of noise, I never once had trouble sleeping. The rooms were clean, the breakfast was good and the staff were very friendly. The pool bar serves the nicest sangria and toasties ever, I would just recommend another member of staff to help out as he was extremely busy! The pool was a good size and there were plenty of sun beds, all in all it was fantastic and did exactly what we needed! We would happily return and looking to do so next year! Thank you for a lovely stay
