Very easy to get to first little car park in walled city. Smallish room queen bed very comfortable plenty of pillows, nice shower everything spotless! Great view from our room.. tv with dozens of channels. Interesting breakfast found plenty to eat. Dinner as in the food was ordinary unfortunately the waiter had a cold and coughed and sniffed all night...

We enjoyed our stay immensely. The rooms were very clean and comfortable and suitable for such an old town. The hotel offers an evening meal but we decided upon a local restaurant. Breakfast was pleasant, but limited. We look forward to our return.

The hotel is ideally placed to take in the marvellous views available from Marvao, we had a room looking out to the valley below. The hotel was extremely well presented with all areas being well furnished in a decor that suited an old hill town with fort. Our room was comfortable, the bathroom was well equipped but a little small....

Excellent hotel which is worth more than the three stars. All staff and management very friendly and helpful. Location on the walls with a "short" walk to the museum and castle was just right. Food and drinks were of good quality also

We really enjoyed our stay at this hotel. Everything was typical: the bedroom, the welcome drink and the food. It is a very comfortable place to stay for the whole family and the view was breathtaking. Sr Manuel and D. Celeste were the most gratious and the nicest hosts.

We booked the room with view and terrace online, and the view is spectacular from their third floor. We had looked into all the b&b options in marvao, and this one guaranteed us a view for the best price. We thought it was a risk b/c Dom Dinis is toward the base of the hill, so we weren't sure if...

We felt great in Marvao and in Hotel El Rei Dom Manuel. Fantastic room with great comfort. Friendly reception. The Wifi was a bit slow sometimes but at a place like Marvao its just great to feel disconnected from the world. Highly recommended!

Lovely family owned and run hotel in the gorgeous hill town of Marvão. The excellent reviews we had read proved accurate. The hotel is charming, as are the hosts. Our room, overlooking the walls and superb views, was spotlessly clean and nicely furnished. The bathroom was excellent: smart, bright & with a large shower. All the bed & bath linen...

Like other accommodation in Marvao, this is a small hotel where each room is different from the others. We hit the jackpot, as the best room was available, with windows on two sides with great views, and a small balcony (carved within the hotel roof) with a superb view of the Castelo. It cannot get better than that. Marvao itself...

A smallish hotel in a lovely setting. The rooms are probably on the smallish side, but are fine, and were spotlessly clean. Get one with a 'mountain view' as you get a stunning view from 900 metres above sea level over the surrounding area. Wifi was free and worked fine. The staff were extrremely friendly and helpful, and the breakfast...
