Wow! Loved this place! They offer a free transfer so Michael picked us up at the ferry. He was very informative and friendly. He gave us a great amount of information about the island and tips on how to have a wonderful time. During our drive, he called a rental car company and a car was delivered to the Yakinthos Residence about 30 mins later. We got a 2 room suite and it was very spacious and included a kitchen. We were greeted by Efie, who was VERY nice and helpful. We told her we wanted breakfast every morning and for 12E a person, we had a tray of bread, egg quiche, fruit, cereal, a hard boiled egg and orange juice. The place is about 15-20 mins from downtown Mykonos which is actually a good thing. It was nice to get away from the noise of Mykonos once we were done partying!

Yakinthos Residence has fantastic views over the sea. The location is quiet, in the mountains. The Owner, Christos, is very helpful, gives you good tips for beaches and restaurants on the island. Very good beds, spacious wardrobe in the room and kitchen with large fridge and freezer, 4 burner stove, oven, Nespresso, toaster, kettle and crockery. Delicious Egyptian cotton bedding and beach towels. Good air conditioning. The cleaning is also excellent. There is a beautiful swimming pool (3 meters deep) with sunbeds on the complex. Car you can park for free on site. The island is quite small so with a car you are within 30 minutes in the south. We greatly enjoyed 10 days in this top accommodation!

Residence in full Greek style overlooking the bay of Panormos. We stayed in the apartments upstairs and the view is really SUPER. The apartments allow for a holiday in complete autonomy because they are equipped with everything you need, including a nespresso machine and an iron with a small table. I cannot fault Yakinthos. This was the best part of my trip. My kids loved it as well, especially the beautiful swimming pool. The breakfast was delicious and we looked forward to it each morning. The maid service was great and it was lovely to come back to a clean apartment. We had a studio apartment and it was spacious, comfortable and everything we needed. Christos was very helpful and tended to all our needs. It was so relaxing and the location is superb. Close to the best spot, Kiki’s and Panormos beach. I’m coming back next summer as the energy is amazing here and there is so much natural beauty to look out to wherever you are in the residence. The wine on the room service menu is the best!!! The area of Panormos is rural and it is chosen by guests that want to relax and enjoy their Mykonos vacations away from the party crowds. Having a way of transport is strongly suggested as public bus service is limited to 4 busses per day and taxis in Mykonos island are only 30 in number. we have a lot of guests that do the 500meeter walk towards Panormos beach daily and they do not need a car.
