Welcome to Torre de Uriz Hotel, a small rural hotel located in the same village in Arce's Valley. According to Uriz description, dated 1785: it is one of the very ancient villages, celebrated for its nobility, so most of the houses have a coat of arms. No doubt this is right; Uriz is a beautiful town that holds in its urban fabric and in its architectural heritage of beautiful gothic and defence towers the charm of medieval villages. It is just in one of those towers, declared of Cultural Interest in 1949, where the Hotel Torre de Uriz is located. It has a privileged location just 14 miles away from the collegiate church of Roncesvalles, at the start of the Route of Santiago de Compostela (Way of Saint James) in the eastern Pyrenees of Navarre. The hotel location and its access, through a newly built road, make the hotel a perfect base to explore the spectacular Irati forest, to practice birdwatching in the gorges of Lumbier or Arbayun and even as an option to bear in mind after spending a long feast day in Pamplona during the San Fermin.
