I just call it crap. A hotel at sea (it's 5 minutes walking) without Airco. And with the slowest elevator possible. Also it's very noisy, the walls are paperthin. The bed is from the 80's i think and the shower from the 70's. Avoid this place like a plague!

Old hotel - but clean and good location. The owner is a very nice and polite man - and always helpfull if assistance was needed. Breakfast was not impressive - but it was ok. Hotel is located at the end of the shoppingstreet and the beach is only 100 m away.

We ended up in this hotel after trying to book a hotel for the weekend. Unfortunatly the hotels we choosed were fully booked. So we reserved a room at this hotel. The room isn’t very spacious but the beds are good. The bathroom is small but with a shower, toilet and sink you have everything you need. But ... the room we had faced above the square were the tram stopped, the taxi’s stopped and all the drunk people gathered to get home until 5 or 6 in the morning. They shouted and screamed hour after hour. Next to us there was a hotel guest that shuffeld his furniture during the night in the room. So in the end we didn’t sleep at all. If you use the toilet it makes a horrible sound that would wake up the few people that were sleeping in the hotel at that moment. In the morning we went for breakfast. And the breakfast buffet was a dissapointment. Nothing fresh and even the coffee coming out of a machine didn’t taste. Staff wasn’t interested at all. This hotel isn’t the 3 stars it has worth. We will definitly avoid it next time we are in Oostende.
