There is a boutique hotel feel here with its nod to design and style. Black and white images of Serge Gainsbourg, sheepskin rugs and rustic wood combine to create a calm and peaceful place to relax. Nice secluded terrace at the back overlooking the canal. Decent continental breakfast and very helpful and friendly staff. Three of our group had requested gluten-free and everything was there and in order when we sat down for breakfast. Rooms are clean and bathrooms seem to have been renovated in recent years. Recommend
As two students with limited budget my girlfriend and I found this place. It was during Covid19-times which had an influence on our experience. The atmosphere at the hotels was good. The hotel is located in a more quiet part of the city of Bruges. Public parking is close by and I think the hotel has some parkingspots as well. The room was in good condition. It was not more or less than you need. Quiet warm as our room was located under the room. We had breakfast here as well. This is definitely one of the best parts of your stay here. Rich breakfast buffet that you can eat on the terrace next to the water. Amazing Bruges breakfast experience. I would definitely recommend this Hotel.
We spent one night in this hotel which was enough. We just used the room for sleeping at night. Our biggest problem was the really poor breakfast. We got a couple slice of bread 1 slice of ham 2 slice of cheese / salami and a couple box of sweet jams nothing else like an egg or vegetables. We do not really like sweet things so that breakfast pack obviously was not enough for two person. At the end we are really disappointed about the service what we got from this hotel so I do not recommend to stay here. Probably you can find a better one for better price.
From the moment of arrival expectations were shattered. The hotel is too dark and looks neglected. It got worse when we were given our room. Upon entering the room, nothing to do with what was shown on the website. Much smaller and darker than what was shown on the booking channels. The room had no option to regulate the temperature and the we couldn't do anything to stop the cold but sleeping with our jumpers. Considering that all restaurants are closed, there was not even a place to have dinner in the room. We had a normal and a small chair to sit in and have dinner and one and the table without space to have dinner so we ended having dinner on the bed and the bedside table. We had to ask for utensils because there were none. We could hear the conversations of the whole hotel, of the rooms next door, upstairs, of the reception and of the car park... so rest and privacy are very scarce in this hotel. There was nowhere to leave our clothes, only a couple of hangers and a shelf, not even a wardrobe, we had to leave our suitcase on the floor. As for the cleanliness, it seemed pretty good until I dropped an earing on the bedside table, I had to bend down and see all the spider webs from the heating. Breakfast left something to desire but it wasn't the worst part of the stay. 3 rolls of bread, some toast, cheese, ham, butter, something like nutella, juices and coffees... but everything was cold. And I repeat, the season was not the hottest at all. They don't respect the Covid security measures. They don't clean the rooms properly. I can say 100% sure that they do not disinfect the rooms. The receptionists did not wear masks and there was no gel left at the reception to disinfect our hands after a long journey trip.…
Niet hotel in the Center of Bruges. It's close to the center and on walgking distantice fron the train station. The rooms are lange, clean and warm. Bathroom full equipted. Breakbeat was served in the room. Friendly staff.
The hotel is located in a quiet street A few minutes walk from city beffroi. Public parking is possible close to the hotel (5min walk). We stayed in a triple room. The room and bathroom were large and clean. Excellent beds. The room did not have any air conditioning but were still cool enough. Excellent continental breakfast with a good variety of bread and fresh fruits. Friendly and helpful staff All measures against COVID19 were taken to ensure a safe stay.
We visited here for 3 nights and for the price it was brilliant. Had the very cool style which is very current in modern Belgian places. Our room was simple and stylish. Only thing missing was a mirror in the bedroom. The breakfast was brilliantly simple too with fresh pastries and bread every morning. Very close to most attractions. Well worth an easy visit.
This is a lovely, clean hotel. Breakfast was fantastic- croissants, cereal, fruit meat and cheese, eggs etc. The staff were all wonderful and keep standards high. Our room had a couple of tiny signs of age such as a missing loo roll holder and paint chips to the door but this didn't effect our comfort at all. I enjoyed the little bar in evenings and families with children are also well catered for from what we saw. The location is perfect for exploring the city and we were able to park easily in the local underground car park. I would certainly stay here again!
Great little Hotel off the main streets, peace and quiet, friendly and very helpful staff. Sense of style, lovely big room and bathroom, good breakfast. small terrace out back overlooking canal for pre-dinner drinks. Comfy lounge in front for post dinner drinks but no-one stays up late. Ring ahead for a car-space and use your sat-nav to get there off the ring road. Not cheap but worth it. If we come back to Bruge would try here first.
We stayed for two nights as a family of four in a family room. Really nice room, very big with an enormous bathroom. Very friendly and welcoming staff. Continental breakfast was included and very good. Location is just off one of the main shopping streets but quiet at night.
