This place is totally worth the 5 stars. Amazing building with beautiful interior design. Friendly staff, spacious rooms and great breakfast. Overall a great stay and we will be coming back! Hotel is also located in a great area with a 5min walk to the center of Bruges. Parking is available but at an additional cost

We love this Hotel. It was the second stay for us and we will come back next year for sure. Great ambiente, very nice service, best breakfast and very nice hotelbar with super cocktails. We tried several Hotels in Bruges in the past, this one is simply the best. We asked for a room switch and it was made possible immediatly without problems.

Wonderful classy hotel right in the centre of Bruges. Stayed 3 nights in December for Christmas markets. Impressive building inside snd out, wonderful friendly, helpful staff. We ate in the restaurant on the first night and meal was excellent. Bar area was very welcoming and the extensive grounds make this an amazing experience. Underground parking was a an additional benefit, making it just an overall wonderful experience

Thee is much to recommend the Dukes' Palace. Central location, comfortable and spacious bedrooms, friendly service, good quality breakfast, nice bar. A pity though that they have not by now corrected a few minor blemishes. Our bedroom had lots of hanging space, but no drawers capable of accommodating a shirt and only two open shelves, one of which was inaccessible to anyone under six feet tall. The bathroom had nowhere to hang towels and there was nowhere in the shower to put soap or shampoo. All easy to fix.

A truly outstanding hotel. Just gorgeous inside and out. Rooms were clean and well appointed with modern amenities. Had amazing views of the city. Belgian chocolate welcomed us, which was a nice touch. Would recommend adding a nightlight to the bathroom. Loved the cozy bar for beer and snacks. The restaurant was pretty with good service and fine food; expensive. So close to everything you want to get to in town. 100% would stay here again.

We had a lovely junior suite in the castle side. Reception and service were first rate. Breakfast was a bit underwhelming given the cost and the coffee was somehow both super hot and super bland. Dinner was really good with a fixed local menu and (southern hemisphere) wine selection. The bar is also very nice and popular. Sadly they don’t let you take drinks out to the big bauble..

Wonderful hotel and very centrally located to soak up all the charm of Bruges. Dukes Palace is an old school, elegant, 5* hotel with excellent staff. We loved everything about it from the rooms to the service. Breakfast was a real spectacle and I just wished we had stayed longer than one night!

The Hotel Dukes Palace was, without any doubt, an absolutely wonderful experience - probably made more so by going at Christmas time. Tucked away, its splendour becomes apparent as you approach down a small road. It is a sheer delight to walk through the corridors - especially with the beautiful Christmas decorations. We stayed in room 604 and 605 - again, absolutely beautiful rooms, so very clean, well set up, and opening up onto lovely gardens. We spent a couple of evenings in the very nice bar - staff were incredibly attentive. While staff are highly dignified, they are also respectful, kind and incredibly helpful. The location of the hotel is second-to-none in terms of being able to walk around the main areas of Bruges. I must also add that the cost of the hotel rooms are, very reasonable for the quality. Of all our many trips abroad, this is probably now our favourite hotel, and definitely our favourite staff. We will be returning year-on-year at Christmas...something we never do.
