Their hotel apparently burned down and is being rebuilt, but they have an active website that takes reservations and has no indications that they are not open for business. It's not cool to travel all day to find that your booked hotel is not there! Poor business practice!

We booked our hotel online many weeks before our trip. When we got to the location, it was completely gutted and under construction. Checking the website, we saw it doesn't mention anything about construction. They never sent us an email either or provided any notice. Luckily, we didn't pay online before so no loss except the inconvenience of having to... More

We had a life threatening stay at this hotel. While we were asleep in our room on the 3rd floor the hotel caught fire. with NO SMOKE DETECTORS and NO FIRE ALARM we woke up luckily when the power went out after the fire had already been burning. We were TRAPPED in our room and couldn't get down the staircase.... More

Hotel had everything we needed for our stay, very clean, did not have breakfast so cannot comment there, staff were top class, very helpful, quaint little bar perfect of a vino in the evening. if I come back to Brugge I would definitely stay here again.

If you are looking for a central location in Brugges, in an authentic Bruges house with a very helpful host, then look no further. Just got back from a two day break with my wife and two young daughters and we were impressed with the location and value!! Thank you Walwyck suites!!

This was a very pleasant stay. The B&B manager was very friendly, he introduced us to Bruges by showing us a map and showing all the things that were worth visiting. The room was clean and the bed was very good. The same goes for the breakfast. A big plus was the close location to the heart of the city!... More

The hotel is in a fantastic location, just a few minutes walk from the main square and the Belfry tower. The hotel staff were fantastic, marking out anywhere that might interest us on the map, showing cheaper places to eat etc. And breakfast which was included in the price was good too. We booked as a family of 5 into... More

This was the last stop on our 3 month honeymoon in Europe and it was the best place we stayed. Incredibly friendly staff, beautiful views from the room, and very close to the heart of the city. The breakfast was amazing (especially he drinking chocolate!), the bed was very comfortable, the soaking tub was a great touch, and the price... More

We were very excited for our stay in Bruges, so after traveling here and booking this place based on the Rick steves book, I was happy to stay at such a pleasant place. Not to big of a hotel which I love. I prefer a place that is laid back and relaxed, but still provides excellent service if needed. When... More

I couldn't recommend this hotel enough. It is in a perfect location in Bruge. You are literally a stone throws away from the main square. The staff are very friendly and easy going and can't do enough to help you (especially the girl with the blonde hair-cant remember her name)The rooms are clean and quite spacious. It is also great... “There's no elevator and after the 1st (American 2nd) floor it is a small curved stair case - and the top floor could be warmer on hot days (fan provided in room). I stayed in the standard room at the top which was a great value and very comfortable - they do have more deluxe rooms overlooking the canal though!”
