Forget the three star rating for this hotel.. It's as lovely as any four star. A gorgeous cosy hundreds year old building with a warm interior.. Stone floors and windy staircases. Staff were really lovely.. Amazingly quick check in process. Rooms big and quirky with lovely modern bathroom and comfy bed. My only tiny criticism is the pillows like on...

We are just back from a weekend break in Bruges, staying two nights at the Boterhuis. Like other family reviewers, we also had the family room at the top of the hotel. It was very spacious and comfortable but the stairs on the spiral staircase were very steep. The staff were very friendly and helpful and the breakfast was plentiful...

The room for our family was great. Top floor and narrow stairs but with kids 12-13 not a problem - rather the opposite. The staff was excellent! Took time to guide with parking, restaurants and other questions. Good value for money.

I think the location of the hotel is the reason of giving it high reviews. it is in the center close to the market and the there is a car park in just in the end of the corner.the hotel itself is a small hotel ,We booked a family room with two children. The room was upstairs and it was too...

Bruges is a beautiful city, easy to walk round and is a great place for a weekend break. The buildings, canals, shops and parks are lovely. Lots to see and do. The short canal boat ride is good value and the view from the top of the clock tower magnificent. Best to eat off the square as it's more expensive...

Great location, great sized room, great service. My husband and 2 daughters (ages 10 & 12) really enjoyed our stay at this hotel. We did get the top floor, family room as requested and it was so bright, clean and roomy. Breakfast was delightful and the people at the front desk were very helpful. Don't hesitate to book this hotel.

Spent 3 nights in this delightful hotel. Very easy to get to ( we took the bus from the train station to the market and then a short walk ) Room good side with recent updated bathroom and all clean with kettle in the room. Breakfast was included with cooked eggs and a generous continental buffet. Staff really friendly and...

Nicely located hotel, although no parking onsite. As others have mentioned there is parking available a few streets away in a secure indoor parking garage. I liked the decor I thought the rooms were tastefully decorated, albeit quite dark. My husband wasn't a fan of the decor as he tends to prefer modern, light & minimalistic, all of which this...

Made a reservation a month in advance but when we arrived, were told they had lost it and were fully booked. After searching their system, the nice gentleman at the desk did find it, but said that since I had sent my credit card info on a Belgian holiday in July, nobody processed it so they never booked the rooms....
