Spacious double room with very modern en-suite. About 3 minute walk from square so perfect location! Typical continental breakfast offered. Staff couldn’t have been more accommodating; so friendly! Very small sachets of what is both shower gel and shampoo (1 per person) offered daily so it’s worth buying your own which is what we did - minor comment really. Could be a little noisy outside but we didn’t mind. Would recommend!

We spent just one night at this family owned hotel. The reception was good by the owner, the next day we were very close to everything in Brujes. There was a spacious room for the three people, the breakfast was great in the loft and we enjoyed our stay.

Excellent accommodation with spacious rooms and modern bathrooms. We found it an ideal location for sightseeing. Although the hotel doesn’t have a bar or restaurant there are plenty of places nearby. There was a good continental breakfast available. All of the staff were extremely pleasant friendly and helpful. A slight downside is the staircases are a bit narrow but this is typical of the local architecture. As parking is limited we would strongly advise booking in advance.

Room Tip: Just be aware the floors are wooden so you may hear people upstairs. We didn’t find it a problem.

This hotel is situated an easy 5-10 minutes walk from the main Market Square. The staff are friendly & helpful, allowing me to leave my luggage in a locked room until check-in time, whilst I did some sightseeing. My room was a single room and, although it was obviously smaller than a double room, there was still plenty of space...as well as the bed, it had a desk with tea/coffee making equipment, tv and storage space. The en-suite bathroom was compact, spotlessly clean and equipped with toiletries/ soft towels. Breakfast (if not included in your booking) is worth purchasing...although it's classed as Continental, you are given a choice of fresh eggs (boiled, fried, scrambled) along with a huge selection of cold meats, cheeses, bread rolls/ toast, fruits, yoghurts, fruit juices & tea/coffee. I will certainly return here on my next visit.

This hotel was fantastic for a family weekend in Bruges. There is secure underground parking around the corner and from Friday night to Sunday mid morning only costing €20.6. The hotel rooms are spacious and comfortable. The breakfast is served in the hotel and is typically continental, with a great array of meats, cheeses and breads to choose from. Coffee by the pot and tea to order. Location wise it is so central that everything is in close walking distance. There are restaurants all very close by with plenty of choice for all dietary needs. Certainly will return.

Don’t forget to take boat trip and horse cart riding. They take you through small winding streets full of history and scenery. Belfry, Cathedral and Notre dam are worth seeing. Though Belfry tower climbing is a bit exertion without alevator.

This hotel has actually exceeded our expectations - from the very first moment when very kind receptionist was showing us the way to parking and up to the tasty good breakfast. The building is located in downtown and looks medieval, but inside is very clean and comfortable, the room is spaceous, has armchairs and the tea/coffee spot. We wish to stay in Boterhuis once again!

Hotel boterhuis is very quirky in a central location approx 4 minute walk to the square and lots of other local attractions including the belfry, museums, canals, shops, restaurants etc We were given a warm welcome by staff and then the young man took my husband to the secure car park we had booked in advance, which was a couple of streets away, he gave us a local map pointing out places of interest Our room was a great size, huge comfy bed with very comfortable pillows, ensuite, with large walk in shower and everything you needed. Breakfast was served between 8-10am continental style with eggs made to order and plenty of choice. We sat in the main area one morning and then went down into the vaulted breakfast room for the 2nd The hotel was so nice and quiet, which was surprising as the hotel is so close to the city centre. We went over the road to the hotel another reviewer had mentioned and sat in the jazz bar and had a few drinks which was very nice too. We will definitely return Thankyou for a lovely stay !!!

The glowing reviews of this hotel are certainly deserved. We stayed for four nights and thoroughly recommend it. The staff were cheerful and helpful. Our room was spacious and tastefully decorated; it was quiet and I was pleased that it was possible to regulate the heating. Having a kettle was a boom (only basic tea and coffee was provided so pack your own more exotic tea bags if required.) Breakfast was plentiful with lots of variety, including freshly cooked eggs. The location could not have been better - only a few minutes from the main market square. We walked to and from the railway station but there is a bus that runs from just outside the hotel. All in all a great place to stay.

Excellent location. If you want a great place for cocktails go to the Hotel Navarra directly across the street (it is a much more expensive hotel). The service is exceptional as they provided a to go Lunch for my family of four as we left prior to breakfast. Who does that?! The beds are better than most luxury hotels.
