Excellent location, very friendly and accommodating owner. Spacious and clean rooms with good en-suite. Very good breakfast, with all you could need. Great value for money, right in the heart of Bruges. Underground parking within 200m.

75 euro for a double bed and breakfast is great value in such an expensive city. Its literally located behind the square so is a great location. Rooms are dated and really need an update but it is clean. The windows do let in a draught from underneath. Breakfast is adequate with an egg boiled on request. Worth a go...

Great location and clean, breakfast was ok, comfortable bed. If you're lucky enough maybe they'll put you on the first floor, cause stairs are quite steep. Quite noisy neighbourhood. My biggest complaint is lack of free wifi. It's the 21st century, who's heard of 5 euro a day for wifi?

I visited Bruges ( quite expensive city, indeed) with my family and we need a big room for four. My husband discovered this little but very nice hotel almost in Market Square (really central position) with honest prices...the room was a surprise...after grimping on a pair of really challenging stairs ( my poor knees), we arrived in a nice big...

Me and my friends had an amazing time in Bruges, definitely as a result of our stay in Hotel Cavalier. The location of the Hotel is excellent, right behind the Market square and very close to many restaurants, shops and bars. We were sleeping at the back of the hotel and did not experience any problems with noise. The street...

Hotel Cavalier is situated in a very central location, only 5 mins walk from the central square. Car parking at Biekorf was inexpensive, at around €9 per day, and is only a 3 minute walk to the hotel. The welcome and service was really good, with a great breakfast provided. We stayed in one of the top rooms ( room...

We stayed here for one night. As others have mentioned there is no elevator and the stairs are fairly steep. The room was very spacious compared to most other places in Europe that we've stayed. The owner was friendly, welcoming, and even made us a pack lunch to go since we had to leave very early before breakfast was served....

This is a small hotel about one block from Market Square. A major bus stop is only a few feet from the main door. Since it is in a small old house there is no elevator. The steps are small and numerous. The further up you go the smaller the steps. The owner is very friendly and helpful.

Location is perfect. 5 minutes walk from market square. Room was huge and bathroom was remodeled. Breakfast in the morning was really good. No elevator so if your room are on top floor you will have to carry your luggage on little steep stairs. Our room was on top floor, room 6 but on the backside so was very quiet...

Excellent location. 5 minutes on foot from Grote Markt. Cosy, simply furnished, clean room. Bathroom ok. Simply but delicious breakfast (cheese, ham, salami, jam, boiled eggs, cereals, fresh bread, coffee, hot chocolate...). Warning - steep stairs!
