breakfast (USD 25 pp) is treated as profit centre, hotel does have some charme though it has a good location but it terribly lacks attention to details, outside facades urgently need painting, same interiorwise, since takeover from former hotel Oud Amsterdam there hasn't been a lot of investment done by the Martin's group

We stayed for two nice in a triple Charming room, and the room was huge! The service was great, and the buffet breakfast was the best we've had - delicious croissants and champagne included! The hotel was beautifully presented and would definitely stay again. 💕💕

This stay at Martins Relais was postponed from last year owing to Eurostar cancellation. However, on arrival, we were warmly welcomed at this lovely hotel. It is relatively small with 44 rooms in a complex of buildings dating from between 13th and 17th centuries! The room on the first floor was large with double windows overlooking the canal, a well... Lovely hotel, booked a comfort room with canal view! Room was huge and bathroom did not disappoint! Very centrally located and easy to find! Wifi was brilliant! View was stunning. Only complaint was we were on the ground floor and the cobbled road outside was noisy when cars going past so couldn't sit with the window open. Apart from that... More

One of the pleasant aspects of visiting Bruges was staying at this hotel. Hotel is in a great location for walking to center of town and for using the bus to go from or to the central train station. Our room was nice and quiet and the people at the front desk could not be any nicer or more helpful.... More

Me and my partner stayed at this hotel for two nights. Upon arrival the receptionist informed us that they had managed to upgrade us to a canal view which was a lovely touch. The room and bathroom were very spacious. The staff were very friendly and provided us with a map of the city and some recommendations for lunch. Overall... More

Stayed here for a couple of days. Well located to the center of Bruge within walking distance of the attractions. Our room overlooked the street entrance to the hotel, really large bed and very quiet. Wifi didn't work ino our room.

The plugs were faulty and when we told staff they treated us like we were retarded. One staff member told us that an electrician had looked at the room a month ago but it had never been followed up. Overall rude staff who were unhelpful and refused to listen to problems about plugs in room

Great location , lovely historical building beautifully decorated, fab breakfast & friendly helpful staff. Easy walking distance from Reay station & near to all sites, museums etc. Canal view room - V. Quiet considering there was a cobbled Rd below. Have stayed in Bruges a few times previously & this was definitely one of my favourite hotels / locations.

We stayed here for one night in April. The hotel itself is lovely, with friendly staff and a nice bar area to relax in. Our room was nice, quite large and very clean- ideal really! The hotel is in a great location, just a short walk from the square. I would definitely return if I was to visit Bruges again... More
