We were greeted with horse heads on our pillows (albeit chocolate ones not a scene from Goodfellas) and Italian singer Ramazotti above our bed. Our room was located next to the garden terrace, it was super clean and had every amenity we needed. Gheestelic Hof has super friendly staff who helped us plot out an itinerary on our first night...

This stay was okay. We stayed in a room on the third floor which had one king bed and a pull out single sofa. The bathroom was clean yet the floors had so much dust in the corners. Also when pulling out the sofa it was quite evident it may not have been used (or cleaned) in quite some time....

We stayed at the hotel for one night in Bruges. The hotel was situated in the old town very near to Sint Salvatore cathedral and near to the market in central Bruges. It was also close to shops and museums in the old town and the Christmas markets. The staff we met were called Lore and Leen who were both...

Hotel is located in the center of the old city. Just a few minutes walk away from all point of interests. As the owner told, it was built in 1682 as a facility building for the next bishop house. Then in centuries and years :) it was converted into a hotel. Rooms are large enough and well heated. Also there...

Beautiful 17th century building, right in the middle of Bruges. Literally steps away from the Sint-Salvator Cathedral, and well positioned to see all of the old city. The hotel itself is charming, with friendly staff that gave us a full run-down of things to do and see in Bruges, including restaurant recommendations. The rooms were clean and comfortable, and the...

We recently spent 3 nights here on a cold November weekend. The room was a decent size, with a large double bed, desk, tv and table and chairs. Bathroom was modern and clean and there was an easy to use safe in the wardrobe. Breakfast for 10€ was good value for money, with plenty on offer including hot food, waffles,...

Excellent position in the town. Staff were very good, friendly and helpful. Lovely complimentary refreshments. Hotel was quirky. Access to our room was difficult with cases, up steep narrow stairs. The room was very hot, but the weather was unusually hot for September.

I was travelling solo on my first trip to Bruges and picked this hotel based on positive reviews, especially of the location. And indeed the location was excellent and within easy walking distance to ALL the main attractions! I arrived by train and it was an easy 15 minutes walk to the hotel. I only had an overnight bag so...
