The little house was perfect. You have your own backdoor, and there is a big garden. We really felt that we had our own beautiful place in the busy city. The house was very comfortable, because of the fridge and coffee+tea that you can make yourself, you can do whatever you want. Also the bed is really comfortable. I would... More

Francine was very gracious and helpful. She served delicious breakfasts and took the time to reserve a tour and a taxi for us. Plus, she directed us to excellent restaurants. She went the extra mile. I wish we had stayed at De Sterre in the summer so we could have enjoyed the lovely garden. If you have an issue with... More

This B&B is actually a listed summer house at the bottom of the garden of Francine's own listed house. It has its own entrance through a gate in the wall. It was a perfect place to experience historic Bruges - around a ten minute walk into the Markt - but away from all the crowds. Downstairs there is a kitchen... More

A classic property built in French style, although described as a 'summerhouse', it's actually a small two storey house in a walled garden, with beautiful features and a private entrance perfectly located 10 minutes walk to the north of the city centre. Francine, our hostess, brought us continental breakfast each morning and kept us stocked up with Nespresso and tea... More

Upon receiving a warm welcome from the lovely Francine and unpacking our hire car, she directed us to a secure garage where we could park the car for a very small extra charge (approx 5 Euros a day). The summer house is gorgeous and very private - you can come and go as you please through a gate in the... More

What a gorgeous summer house. Francine was an amazing host. Bruges is such an enchanting place on its own, but staying here really added to that experience. You have your own entrance so as not to disturb the house. The stairs are a little precarious, but manageable. It was very clean and it felt like we had stepped into old-time... More
