I would have liked to have given 4 or 5 stars as the apartment was great, spacious, clean and the perfect central location for exploring Bruges. But as mentioned by others in their reviews the noise from the bar below is just ridiculous. I like a good time and do not expect people to be in bed by midnight but... More

This was large 3 bedroom 2 bath very nicely decorated apartment block 10 mins from the central square. would highly recommend there was a busy bar opposite but with double glazing it wasnt noisy at all . on the downside was a bit stuffy as a result. But would highly recommend we paid £440 for 2 nights would easily sleep... More

We stayed at the House of Elements on our Europe road trip with family. We were stunned by the size of the apartment and the location it is at. Rooms were well equipped and spacious. Within walking distance you find many shops and the centre of Brugge. Will definitely visit here again.

We stayed in the water apartment 3 beds 3rd bed bit small, no frills! Shower pressure was very good, however jacuzzi didn't work so bit disappointed, and some times there was a strong toilet smell, especially in the small toilet under the eves!! Apartment very clean plenty of bed linen and towel on 3rd floor if extra needed as there... More

We booked this appartment for three nights, 12th to 114th June 21015, two couples and we were given "wood" appartment on the first floor. The appartment is extremely well situated, just round the corner from the Markt, with a bakery and a super market very close to it. We also booked a garage space which was very close and very... My husband, his cousin and I drove into Bruges from Amsterdam. With a couple of snack stops and lots of photos it took us about 3 hours to get to The House of Elements. We had to meet a nice man and pay for our stay upfront and get our keys, passcode for the entrance, and parking advise. From there... More

We rented 2 apartments for 6 of us. Earth and Wood apartments. If it had just been the Earth apartment all would have been fine and I would have rated it very good. However our second apartment let the whole thing down. Wood apartment was not well cared for. The light switch by the entrance was loose and seemed dangerous.... More

We stayed in the Water 3 bed place on the top floor. Lift goes up 2 floors, then one flight of stairs. The actual apartment was lovely, lots of space, nice big dining table / corner sofa / TV (which came with a copy of In Bruges on DVD). Clean and well stocked in general. As per everyone else though,... More

In common with some other reviewers we really liked the space and the standard of accommodation, but the bar across the street (or is it the pissoir?) seems to attract some fairly loud drunks in the early hours. We were woken about 5.30 one morning and 6.30 the other by shouting which only ended when the police arrived. Maybe it... More

We stayed here in the "Earth" apartment for 4 nights and would love to be able to give an excellent rating because the location, standard of the apartment, parking and the whole organisation of the letting was superb BUT we did experience noise from the bar -all night! In fact on one occasion the police arrived in the square at... More
