We just arrived home after spending a wonderful week in romantic Brugges. We actually planned ahead to divide our time between two small guest houses, with Number 11 being the second place to stay. We started at the Bonifacius, which was our first choice and stayed in the largest room. Upon checkout we were sad thinking nothing could top that...

The Number 11 B&B is located in the historic center of Bruges. It’s about a 2 minute walk to the beautiful Burg-square and a 3 minute walk to the central market-square. Although located close to the city-center, Number 11 is very quiet. No noises from the city or cars or whatsoever. The guesthouse itself is wonderfully decorated, a bit contemporary...

For the conclusion do our stay in Europe this summer we had something special in mind. We were not disappointed to choose "Number 11" for our 5 night stay. It was not only the charming architecture, the tasteful design, the romantic little garden, the comfortable beds and the overall peaceful ambiance and loving care, which showed in the details, which...

We spent three nights in early January at this lovely house. Our stay was delightful: the owner, her husband and her two colleagues were charming, kind and thoughtful (and recommended a wonderful restaurant, le Couvert). We stayed in the Vanilla room, which was quiet, comfortable and exceptionally pretty. Breakfasts were leisurely and delicious; in the garden outside resident blackbirds were...

My wife chose No 11 from web pictures and we expected something good. We were even more impressed when, greeted by the most welcoming staff, we were shown into the vanilla room. The house and rooms are dripping with old world character and charm and made you feel immediately comfortable and at ease. Hilde, who received us, clearly loves her...

We met the owner and both hotel managers and they are all so lovely and helpful! We stayed in the chocolate room as well as the grey/white room and were impressed with both. Great attention to detail across the board - decorations, service... Everything! Breakfast was good/not too filling and the beds are very comfortable. Well appointed rooms with modern...

Upon arrival we received a warm welcome and were shown to the lovely vanilla room. The room was clean, warm and tastefully decorated. The staff were friendly and helpful, easy to contact but never in the way. Breakfast was delicious and generously sized. The guesthouses location is perfect for exploring Bruges, within easy walking distance of the attractions but away...

We stayed for 2 nights just before Christmas and our room, the grey in the attic, and the entire guesthouse were stylish, spotlessly clean, and totally comfortable and comforting. We were very well looked after and the breakfast was perfect, with all you could want and of good quality.
