Lovely hotel. Great location by the canal and in the heart of the town. The rooms are nice and spacious. They are modest in decoration and not fancy but that works okay especially because of the size. The bathrooms were really modern and superb with great fittings and body products. Noise can carry from guests outside the room at times and a little more tea etc amenities in the room would be helpful. Overall very nice and with a lovely cosy common lounge to relax in.
We stayed 1st to the 4th July 2022. Check-in was fast and efficient as was check out - everything was accurate. We stayed in room 242 which looked over the canal to the front of the building with views over the canal - the room was to a good standard with a bright and clean appearance. The bed was very comfortable and the bathroom / shower was immaculate. We had a fridge with mini bar in our room too at extra charge for use. We did receive a complementary small bottle of water each day beside our bed. The weather was warm and the ventilation in our room had to come from our windows being wide open as the air conditioning does not cool the room much - we then got loads of bites from the incoming insects at night. Breakfast at the hotel is a bit hit and miss but all food was a very good standard, waffles were available 2 out of the three mornings but no toppings were available. There was a good choice of fruit , meats and bread so a reasonable choice. The staff were very focused on ensuring we were taken care of and they were very attentive. We want to drive to the hotel the next time we stay but we think 35 euros per night is very high it would be good if this is reviewed or offered complimentary for guests staying at the hotel. There is Electric charge points for you car too, this is chargeable on top of the 35 Euros per night for the car. The room we had is very noisy from early in the morning 06:00 on wards especially this Monday for some reason and as we slept with windows open it was just so loud.…
Staff: Five Stars - very friendly, and incredibly helpful. Room was very clean. Room: Five Stars - newly decorated, spacious, beautiful, and very clean. Splurge and go for the Canal view, you won't be disappointed. We were on the 3rd floor - and the double glazed windows kept out any sound from the street (which is actually totally quiet after 11pm). Location: Perfectly located with a quick walk to all the major attractions. The other things: Room included a nice assortment of shampoos etc. robe, & slippers. We had very strong wi-fi. Small details: Breakfast is not included and you do need to make a reservation for it. With advance notice (at least 24 hours) they are able to accommodate those who are on a Gluten Free diet with Gluten Free bread/toast and pastries. There is a nice selection of fruits, eggs, meats, cheeses, breads, pastries etc. I especially liked the addition of macaroons and candy! The Bottom line: I thought it was worth every penny!…
We've been visiting the De Tuilerieen for ten years and it never disappoints. It's not only a beautifully designed hotel, the staff are unfailingly polite, friendly and professional. Having breakfast and watching bruges wake up in the lovely breakfast room is one of life's pleasures. Can't wait to return
We chose this hotel based on its ideal location and parking in the middle of the city. The hotel is recently renovated, luxury bathrooms, has a delicious breakfast with lots of variety. We could even enjoy delicious waffles in the morning. We stayed in an executive room with canal view. The view was breathtaking. We could admire the symbol of Bruges, the belfry tower, as well as the elegant swans swimming by. Wifi connection in the hotel was perfect! Finally, we would like to thank the staff for our stay. From check in to check out they gave us the ideal service with a sincere smile. They will see us back every year !
Really amazing experience. Friendly staff, room was spacious with lots of light, and the bathroom was very modern. The location was perfect. Five minute walk from tower and basilica. The bar at the hotel is right out of a movie with antiques and incredible ambiance. Staff recommended us two romantic dinners and took care of the recommendations. Couldn’t recommend it more
We started staying at this historic boutique hotel since 2015 and stayed over 100 nights over the years. The first few years were great with a back patio and indoor pool and spa. It also had a fabulous breakfast buffet with local yogurt, homemade lemon and blueberry muffins and brosecco. Now, the back patio has moldy bushes and a school behind it where the kiddies seem to have permanent outdoor recess with constant screaming. The free Wi-Fi never connects. Russian ladies stayed in the room next to us and partied all night long. Finally, there is no more local yogurt, homemade lemon and blueberry muffins, nor brosecco. The staff pretends to be nice but if you want a place with a smirk on their face then this is your place!
Our stay here was really wonderful. The staff were amazing and really helpful. We had a family room at the back of the hotel which was huge and more like an apartment as the main bedroom was separate from the children’s room. It was lovely and quiet and the beds were really comfy. We hired the pool which was great fun and there’s also a sauna so felt like being at a spa! The hotel is very central so great for exploring. Would definitely recommend.
Very nice property. Outstanding location and service. Our room was huge, comfortable, and quiet. The reason I rated 4 instead of 5 was I paid 100E for upgraded room which, based on what, I saw was not even close to worth the money. Also, no towel bars in bathroom. A weird little quirk.
Very conveniently located hotel right in the historic centre next door to the main museums and a stone’s through from the market square. Get a canal view room and you’ll look across to the Belfry Tower. Very comfortable and the staff couldn’t be more helpful.
