Booked a Superior room through booking.com. Hotel are misrepresenting the hotel and room types on their website and not offering the services they charge for. They boast a 25m2 room with Wifi and a 46'' TV - the room was <15m2 and the TV 28'' screen. The Wifi did not work despite having the password and name. The receptionist advised...

We stayed at the Hotel Jacob for one night as were visiting the city of Bruges on a mini cruise with P&O ferries. We found the hotel through booking.com and chose it because of its reviews. We arrived in Bruges around 09:30 and made our way to the hotel, now although it was too early to check in the receptionist...

don't wish to say too much as I am pursuing a complaint via ECC, (europe trading standards.) see reveiw below title "Cancelled our booking less than 24 hours notice. Still charged us. Avoid.” We were the other group referred to and we were indeed denied access despite payment (not refunded) and for multiple changing reasons, on arrival. I am aware...

We booked two double rooms. One was very nice and had a large, renovated bathroom and a view of the street. The other had an outdated tiny bathroom and view of the fire escape. However the rooms were the same price. If you choose to stay (and I would recommend it as a city centre hotel with a cosy vibe...

We booked this hotel through a hotel booking site (HRS.com) for a one night trip to Bruges. The day before we were due to arrive we received an email at around 6pm from the agent telling us that the hotel could no longer guarantee our reservation as they were undergoing renovations. When trying to sort out an alternative the following...

The receptionists said that the hotel had been renovated recently. Truth of the matter: the reno wasn't quite finished in Sept 2012 (no phones or wifi in room, despite claims in their ads), and its housekeeping staff doesn't seem properly trained. For wifi, I ended up every night in the small, ill-lit bar, which closed at 2200 when the receptionist...

Stayed here overnight on a Brugge visit when returning to the UK. The hotel is situated in the old central part of the city about 1 mile from the centre on a corner down quiet streets next to a large church. There is street parking outside and you can use one of the hotel parking cards for a 10 Euro...

This is a good hotel for a one night stay. The rooms are small even by European standards- but nicely furnished and stylish. In a good location, quiet and not too far to work from the centre of bruges. Breakfast was ok, nothing to rave about. Staff helpful and informative. Good value for money.

Smallish family hotel with guest-orientated proprietors. Although our room was on the small side, it had everything that we expected and was comfortable with views from the windows over the narrow cobbled streets of the area. The hotel has a lounge, bar and breakfast room for guest use, and breakfast was substantial and most enjoyable. The proprietors and staff were...

We stayed here for two nights while in Brugge. The room was spotless and comfortable and in a lovely (quieter part of Brugge)? It's located next to histroric St Giles church and is a pleasant 10 min walk away along the canal to the Center of Brugge. The room was smallish, but had loads of hangers and a small closet....
