Really disappointed. The room smelled damp. The sound-proofing was non-existent, able to hear everything in other rooms adjacent to and above us. The doors all banged. There were no hotel staff around for 2 days. The reception desk was in in the bar and wheverever we stood we were blocking either staff or customers. Plus the staff had to serve... More

Basic but comfy, the hotel is in a great location for all the sights and the restaurant it is above serves fantastic food. The staff were welcoming and able to help with directions. The shared showers are kept clean a great start to our travels.

Booked two nights here as part of a european motorbike tour. Room is basic, but clean and tidy; when you're touring on a bike, all you really need is a comfy bed and somewhere to wash. The bar downstairs has a great selection of beers, both bottled and draught - including my favourite, kriek. The food was extremely good, and... More

perfect for a romantic getaway on a budget (young couple): Confortable bed, friendly and welcoming staff, cute bar and good beers, clean sanitaries and linnen, perfect value for price paid (50€ a night for 2) , in the centre of Brugge...Overall great! Aside from the sound

Friendly people and the cleaning guy was very helpfull and funny. At arrival we had to call to check-in, which we didn't find a problem. Rooms are very basic, 4 beds, a chair, some clothes hangers and a washingtable. Only disadvantage is that there was only one socket to charge phones or cameras. If you plan on going out all... More

This hostel is off the beaten path but still in a great part of downtown. The room was simple, but clean. The beds were surprisingly comfortable. Wifi did not reach to the room but was available in common areas. I was most impressed with the staff and the restaurant which appears to be family run (along with the hostel). The... More

The hostel is very creepy. When we arrived nobody was at the location. We had to call the owner to come to the hostel. He was very quick, but it was the last time when we saw somebody in the hostel. There was nobody at the reception and nobody in the restaurant. The room is not nice at all. Almost... More

We were immediately greeted by the hostel owner/manager. He was lovely and very accommodating. We arrived at 3pm were told our room be ready at 5pm however the website says checkin at 12pm. 5pm is very late and not what we were expecting after travelling all day and just wanting to settle in. The hallway in the entrance smells strongly... More

I travel the world and stay from hostels to 5 stars. I decided to stay at this place as it seemed nice. I put my arrival time at 11am and due to many issues on the road my family and I could only arrive at 7pm. We met the owner and he started shouting at us, saying that we should... More

When we initially arrived we were greeted by the owner, he has a dry sense of humour and likes to chat. He was very accommodating and encouraged us to come to him should we need any further information. The location of the hotel was ideal, very central and easy access to Christmas Markets and the canal and main square. The... More
