Overall, we had a good stay at Grand Hotel Normandy. We were particularly pleased with the breakfast (nice and diverse buffet offer) and the professionalism of the staff. Strengths: - Staff: professional, fluent in different languages (French, Dutch and English at least), very helpful - Breakfast: large buffet from sweet to salty offers, accommodating different tastes; nice opening hours until 11am - Welcome gift: nice touch from the hotel by offering a mini cava bottle and chocolates with a kind welcoming note - Mini Rituals bottles in the bathroom - Comfortable bed - Pool (although we must admit we didn’t use it); open until 10pm, which is very convenient. On the least positive note: - Noise: it was quite noisy in our bedroom located on the ground floor; the window was single-glassed we believe since we could feel some cold air coming through it and hear the cars and people chatting on the parking next to it

We have booked the room here, but turns out we have been contacted with the covid. We called and kindly asked to cancel our reservation. They not only not canceled but also say that we can't come anyways and charge all money from us. Would be better to not telling anything come and make virus spread I guess. I am asking to the support team to fix and return the money back.

This hotel is fabulous, the taxi pulled up and everyone in our party shot me a look.... doesn't look great from the outside, but once you walk into the reception - it's lovely. Location is fantastic, short walk into town and very easy to remember how to find it. The rooms were superb, lovely big comfy beds, rooms were big, minibar had a great selection, no road noise due to the double glazing, great size bathroom and staff were amazing!! Definitely would recommend and would most certainly return.

Very bad price / service ratio, avoid this hotel and go for cheaper ones, the service will be far better ! We had noise during night then during the whole morning without any compensation... While we had a 300€/night room, scandalous...

So I booked this hotel July 2020, for 6 rooms… Covid struck and agreed to only 3 rooms- they shut hotel but I didn’t have cancellation? Again they shut hotel so really had to return money or move dates……. I am meant to be going 25th September. Being a UK resident I’m not permitted to travel, so what’s the help of the hotel manger, can’t help done multiple times? Yes Covid still here, still can’t travel that’s why you shut your hotel too, now even with the reduced to the 3 rooms will not move the date. I offered to pay for a further 3 nights if kept these to make longer weekend- NO!! Stay away from this hotel if this is the service and way they deal with their customers in such a strange time knowing can’t travel? I think it’s disgusting £598 lost. DO NOT USE THIS HOTEL….
