    First time in bruges
Excellent hotel, close to the centre of bruges. Staff really friendly and welcoming. There were road works outside but didn't inconvenience what so ever. There is parking available for €25 a night but a short walk away is a public car park for €15, we dropped bags off then parked car and walked back. Room was beautiful, huge bed, beautiful glasses to drink from not cheap glass or paper cups. Fridge In room with cans of pop or wine if you wish to purchase, room to put your own drink in. Breakfast was lively, tables set with proper teaset. Choice was amazing continental and bacon (streaky), scrambled eggs, hash browns, beans and crepes. Will definitely recommend.

    Love this hotel!
We were pleasantly surprised by this hotel. It was more than we hoped for the price we paid. It’s 3 stops by bus from the train station and 10 min walking distance to Grote Markt Square so close to the attractions but away from the crowd. The standard room is tastefully decorated, had 2 comfy twin beds, a mini ref, water kettle and nespresso for the complimentary tea and coffee. Bathroom was clean and comfortably sized. The staff were all cheerful and accommodating. This was what struck us the most. It’s like they really like working in this hotel. We definitely recommend this hotel.

    Charming, small hotel
A small charming hotel. We wanted a 4 star hotel in Bruges with a family room, swimming pool and parking and this hotel tucked all of the boxes. Parking area is small but we were able to reserve a place in advance at a cost of 25 Euros per day. Swimming pool is small but lovely. Our kids enjoyed splashing around. The family room was nice and spacious and included two interlinking rooms without a door. Our room was on the ground floor overlooking the parking, but we didn’t mind that as it was easy to get to and close to the pool. Other people may find that an issue. 10 minute walk to the centre of Bruges, so good location. There was a lovely guy working at the reception who made us feel very welcomed.

The hotel staff were very helpful during the booking procedure. We were allowed to check in early, and our room preferences were all taken into consideration. We stayed in a Deluxe room and it was truly a wonderful experience. Our room had an entrance to the terrace, where we were able to have our morning coffee in perfect weather on the comfy couches. The breakfast was divine; lots of options to choose from and everything was so fresh. We went to the pool twice and enjoyed the workout facilities too. The water is kept at a great temperature, the facilities are clean and taken care of. There was just one mishap where the safe in our room stopped working, but the receptionist resolved everything in 1 minute! I am 100% satisfied with our stay and would love to come again.

We stayed for 2 nights as part of our honeymoon and had such a lovely stay here. The staff were very, very helpful and friendly. We also really appreciated the complimentary box of chocolates in our room - a really nice touch! Its a great location and despite being next to a fairly busy road, the noise did not bother us.

The location is excellent for the centre of Brugge, on our arrival we found a very clean, smart presentation, good sized bedrooms with all the bits and pieces you need, and cleaned to a very high standard easy check in, the young man on our arrival (at 11pm) was very helpful, checked that we had everything we needed , a credit to the hotel. , lovely little bar area, comfortable seating and information about Brugge to hand, excellent leisure pool which was free to use during the stay, the breakfast was a small price to pay for what was on offer, excellent selection to suit all tastes, wilth the staff very polite, helpful, always checking the food and replenishing at all times, overall a superb hotel in the centre of Brugge, will definitely be going again,

Excellent location if you are driving in as don’t have to navigate the awful roads in the centre. The rooms were very nice, had everything we needed as well as aircon and a nespresso coffee machine. They were very helpful and allowed us a late checkout and to stay in the car park a little longer. Only a couple of minutes walk into the historic centre and also have us some very helpful basic information regarding restaurants and must see places which made our flying visit much easier. The pool was nice although a little warm in the heat! Beds were huge and comfortable. Dressing gown and slippers also provided.

My Family and I had a great stay at the Grand Hotel Normandy for five nights. Everything was to our liking. The staff was exceptionally friendly and relaxed. The rooms were cosy and convenient and the breakfast buffet superb. All the sights, cafés and restaurants of the small - but not too small - community of Bruges were in a convenient reach. Bruges itself is really, really beautiful and authentic. We would highly recommend a voyage to Bruges and a stay at the Grand Hotel Normandy.
