It was difficult to find a fault with this beautiful hotel.the outside looking like a fairy tale building. The reception staff were so helpful, the communal rooms exquisite and our bedroom was all we expected. Breakfast was comprehensive. My only grouse was expensive on site car parking.
Great location, but found hairs on the bathroom floor, cracks in the room door and no warm water one morning (no compensation or apology on checkout.) Felt like staying in the poor relation to the attached Hotel.
This place is absolutely fantastic. Every element, from food and drink to room size and comfort. Lovely bar to relax in at night and a brilliant breakfast. Can’t imagine that there’s anywhere nicer in Bruges - don’t hesitate just get it booked.
Absolutely wonderfull! Nice location, very clean and large room. Good breakfast, very much options also vegetarian. One of the best hotels I've been so far, they deserve more stars. Only downside is the price parking costs, but if you see it in perception to the parking costs around its decent priced.
We stayed here for a lovely weekend with my mum for her 80th birthday, we were surprised at how spacious the room was and the service was excellent from absolutely everyone. We enjoyed the bar, breakfast was lovely. Would definitely recommend and would stay again.
I've never been more impressed by a hotel experience. The room was luxurious, the bathroom, out of this world. Location was great, my only minor criticism was I do not like square pillows. Otherwise, a perfect experience. I want to go back again soon
The Prisenhof is managed by the rather grand Duke’s Palace just around the corner. Prinsenhof guests can use the Duke’s Palace hotel facilities and dining room, but when the hotel is full, breakfast is provided in the small breakfast room at the Prinsenhof, which we actually preferred. Breakfast was a high quality buffet including scrambled eggs, bacon, smoked salmon, croissants, bread and fruit etc. Our room was accessed from the spacious courtyard and was equipped with a coffee maker, fridge, toiletries and free wifi. It was also nice to sit in the courtyard to relax before dinner. Check in and out is done at the Duke’s Palace, and their staff will show you the way to your room at the Prinsenhof. The location is great for accessing Bruges, with all the main sites, restaurants and bars in walking distance, but the accommodation is so quiet that we slept very well. It is a wonderful place to stay – we enjoyed our weekend here very much.…
We stayed here for four night and would come again. Room was lovely and the bed incredibly comfortable! Loved the pillows. House cleaning were great. Only criticism of the room is sometimes the upstairs guests were a little noisy and to operate the hairdryer you had to permanently grip/hold down the handle to work it (no on/off switch) so with my long hair this was a little arduous so I would recommend bringing your own in future. As others have mentioned it is an annex to the hotel where you check in and have breakfast etc. breakfast was amazing and very generous (you helped yourself) and I didn’t mind walking to the main hotel. Only minor criticism was the check in process we struggled to initially understand where we had to check in and the intern checking us in accidentally presented us with someone else’s details but all was fine in the end. Good location to use as a base also. Overall a lovely, clean and high quality hotel that we would recommend and return to.…
When it's raining in Bruges, and it often is, this is a smart, cosy retreat to come back to, just five mins walk from the Markt. Pretty soon you'll be reflecting on your day and admiring your purchases as your hair and clothes dry. It also has its own underground car park, which makes it one of the easier places in Bruges to drive to or from. As others have said, this is an Annex of the Duke's Palace and so not quite as geared up to wait on you hand and foot. Our one criticism would be that you sometimes have to walk through into the Duke to find someone on the front desk.
We have just spent four days in the lovely city of Bruges. We stayed at the Hotel Prinsenhof which is part of the Dukes Palace hotel. This was a lovely place to stay. We were welcomed by Steven at the front desk and he proved extremely kind and helpful throughout our stay. Our rooms were very comfortable with well equipped showers and bathrooms. The breakfasts were excellent as was every other meal we ate at the hotel. The staff were all super helpful and cheerful. We would highly recommend this hotel.
