I feel badly about rating this hotel so negatively. The staff were absolutely fine, the breakfast was above average, the room I had was lovely. The problem is not with the hotel but that the "canal side" wonderfulness had an unfortunate, and unavoidable down side: Boat after boat from dawn to sundown, filled with 12-18 tourists to whom boat guides...

Superb staff and setting. Location is everything here. In fact, the hotel is featured on the signature view of the city on many postcards. You are moments away from the treasures walking distance from the town square, the museums found near the Church of Our Lady and restaurants and shopping in between. Roelf, your host, goes out of his way...

Could not have been happier with this hotel. Very well located and wonderful staff. When we needed to change our schedule last minute, they were very nice to switch us to another day and not charge extra. Even have a private parking garage we could use beyond check out time (25 euro daily). Would definitely stay there again.

My wife and I had never been to Bruges. We arrived by car on the Sunday of the May Day weekend. The crowds in the streets and square were really large,Iwouldn't like to be there in June and July ! The first view of this unique enchanting place on the canal is great. It would have been there centuries ago. We were given...

This is an excellent boutique hotel. The rooms are small but perfectly fitted out with a gorgeous bathroom and lovely toiletries, towels, robes slippers etc. It is in the perfect location on the canal and you can sit outside for breakfast or drinks and watch the world go by. It is about 150 m from the main square, couldn't be...

Walk in the front door and instantly find out that the staff is fluent in English, helpful to a fault, willing to go out of their way to accommodate. The hotel is fun and very nicely modernized. The rooms are nicely sized and immaculately clean. The tea room has some nice artwork to admire and is a comfortable place to...

Superb hotel in the Centre of Bruges - literally a two minute walk to the central Markt and Burg, the two main squares in Bruges. The hotel is in a lovely old building on a canal. A short walk from the hotel, particularly at night, reveals some wonderful photo opportunities of the canals and buildings of central Bruges. The room...

Beautiful rooms and the staff is the best we've encountered throughout our extensive travels in Europe. On the early morning we were departing and waiting for our driver the Concierge offered us coffee. However to our surprise she brought us croissants and yogurt and fruit with the coffee. This is just a small reflection of the superb service. We are...

My husband and I have stayed at the hotel on two separate trips to Bruges now, and both stays have been just fantastic. The staff are so friendly and helpful, and after a very stressful drive into the city for the first trip, when the roads were closed to cars(!), they upgraded us to the best room in the hotel...

From the moment we walked through the door the staff could not do enough for us. The hotel is charming, quaint and beautiful. The decor is in keeping with the history of the building, our standard room was a very generous size and spotlessly clean. A beautiful marble shower room with fresh robes and nice toiletries, plus a TV and...
